  • Best hotel for on the strip for young people?

What do you guys think the best hotel for young people ages 21-26 would be on the strip? I've heard names like MGM Grand(leaning towards),PH, and Cosmo(super expensive). Any others you guys suggest? MGM does have Wet Republic which sounds pretty cool so what's why I'm leaning towards it. I also know Palms and Hardrock have a relatively young crowd but I heard talking taxis back and towards the strip sucks. Thanks

Wet Republic is closed during the winter season so it'd be kind of pointless unless this hotel is meant for a trip during the summer time then all for it. It's pretty cheap but MGM is at the south end of the strip so expect to taxi it to the major clubs (XS, Marquee, Surrender, 1Oak etc...).

My preference would have to be PH if you're on a budget, Palazzo if you want to get what you paid for type of service from your stay. Specifically palazzo cause it's bang for buck with a bella suite able to fit up to 8 people comfortably and it's a bridge away from Tryst, XS, Surrender and Encore Beach Club during the summers.

PH, there will always be people walking around the casino floor throughout the night and you're a bridge away from Marquee too.

Completed: (2012): mAyOD 2012 Invasion! (Palazzo). July 20-22 (Cosmopolitan). Dec 21-23 (Palazzo).
    (2011): December 30-January 2(Palazzo). April 22-24(Venetian). May 13-15(Venetian). mAyOD 19-23(MonteCarlo). June 24-26(Aria). July 29-31(Bally's). August 19-21(PH Towers @ Westgate). October 14-16 (Aria).

Agree with the above but I really prefer PH over Palazzo for the overall younger environment throughout the hotel and casino

Wouldn't it be 6 comfortably in a bella suite? 2 Queen beds and one pull out sofa bed?

haha yeah it'd be 6 but if you're really trying to squeeze in there then you can do 8, but yeah 6 would be my preferred comfort.

2 per queen bed (4 total), 2 on the pullout, one on the L of the couch and one on the mattress (on the floor) you remove off the L couch to get the pullout bed. So in 8 total with everyone on some type of mattress.

Thanks a lot guys! I had no idea MGM Grand was so far away from everything, so now I'm mostly looking at Mirage or PH, since Palazzo looks amazing but is just too expensive at the moment.

Can't go wrong with Mirage. I had a good stay there.

                    +1 for PH.

One thing I believe is underrated about the property are the shops on the property. It's extremely convenient to get beer, liquor, smokes, snack food and bottled water at pretty cheap prices without leaving the casino. I also second what was said about being a bridge away from the Cosmo. It's a quick stroll to Marquee or any of the restaurants.

I've also had pretty good luck with the upgrade sandwich at PH.

Wherever you decide on...book early and check back for lower prices often. Rates will fluctuate frequently.

If its your first time then PH - for the reason that its right in the middle of the strip and an easy walk to everything and the atmosphere there is pretty lively.
