  • 2 Bedroom Suite @ Planet Hollywood

I was wondering if anybody has ever book the 2 bedroom suite at Planet Hollywood.

Here is a youtube video walk through of one. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DegjpNCa__0

I'm not sure what this suite is actually called. I'm having a difficult time finding it on PH's website. I did some research via google and found a post on JackColton.com that had very little information on the suite.

Me and 3 of my buddies are going in May for the Invasion and are pricing some stuff out right now. I just wanted to know how much people have paid in the past, if this is the best deal for a 2 bedroom suite, and how you go about booking a suite if it's not on PH's website. I was thinking about just booking a standard room and trying the sandwich trick with a $100 bill and tell them specifically what it is I want. I'm sure I'll get an upgrade, but I don't know if they would be willing to upgrade me that much though.

Any insight would be appreciated. Thanks guys.

They actually changed owners of the Planet Hollywood Towers. If you're looking for pricing and booking then just look for Elara. Hilton Grand Vacations own the property and run the reservations for it now.

Oh don't worry I'll drink it. But you better know that when I do, we about to get buck!

PH Towers/Elara and Planet Hollywood were never connected.

Planet has its own 2bedroom penthouse suites but thats not what you were looking for.

Getting an upgrade from a std room to a 2br suite is a long shot on a weekend. Maybe on a weekday it'll work. I've stayed at PH Towers/Elara a couple times and the best I got with a tip and without is a 1bd suite upgrade.

Keep in mind that most suites in Vegas will only have King size beds in each room. theyre hardly ever double queens so, some may have to sleep in the couch or you guys can share the king bed.

Other option is to just get 2 reg rooms so each of you have your own bed.

That I didn't know, I thought that the PH Towers reservations were made through Planet Hollywood.

How much were you guys looking to spend anyway?

Yeah Elara is booked on a different website. Not quite sure what we're looking to spend just yet, but the PH Towers/ Elara is def what I'm looking for. We're flying out of Pittsburgh through Southwest and they haven't posted their prices for May yet so we're waiting to see how much that will cost before we book the hotel. Probably willing to spend up to $800 per person w/ round trip airfare and hotel for 5 nights.

Do you think if we book the 1 bedroom suite and try a $100 sandwich trick, we could get the upgrade to 2 bedroom? I think that's the route we are going to go. A 1 bedroom is way cheaper and since there is only 4 of us we can make it work with a king size bed and a pull out queen. If it's that serious someone can crash on the floor.

Thanks for all the input guys. Does anyone know what website might have the cheapest rates? I googled a little and didn't find too much of a difference from Hilton's website.

I looked at the Youtube video and the room is pretty awesome, but I was wondering if you book one of these rooms what ones should you try and get? The views on the video were cool, but is there any that have more views of the strip?

It looks like the location of the hotel makes it difficult to get a good strip view. Honestly, i don't mind a good desert/ mountain view. It's awesome to wake up to.

Hopefully all works out with the pricing and we can book them. We won't be spending much time in the room anyway, but this place seems perfect for pre-gaming and (fingers crossed) a sweet after party.

right now it's $1,110 for a 1 bedroom suite and somewhere around $2,200 for the 2 bedroom suite for 5 nights. (may 16th-21st)

Are there any suites with 4 double beds?
Or 2 Kings and pull outs?

Only one I know of right now would be like the lago 2bedroom suite at Palazzo. It's two queen beds in one room, king bed in another and a pull out sofa.

As for the OP. Do you know what dates you're looking at in May? I can help you out but we're a little far out. If you do end up booking the room early, please make sure it's refundable. That way if a better rate appears, you can call and cancel and rebook.

I agree the mountains are nice to look at, but I would prefer the strip. You would think theres something facing Bellagio or City Center

Do you know how much the Lago 2 bed goes at? Im also looking for a suite with 3 beds. We had a 2 bed skyloft this year, but looking for something cheaper next year. Elara is an (v.cheap) option, but you need the casino when you goto Vegas right!
