  • New York New York - park deluxe room

Hi, I along with six friends are staying at this hotel, I have a couple of questions:-
    1) each room sleeps up to four people, we have three people in one room, I'm led to believe we have 2 queen size beds and a "rollaway"?! Anyone have any experience of this?
    2) we have three rooms in total, which I'm sure are along side each other, some ppl tell me there are interconnecting doors between rooms, is this correct? Again can't see anything online bout it!
    3) anyone recently stayed in this hotel? Thoughts?
    4) has the local nightclub closed down? Will there be anything else up and running for early next year?

    Thanks
    In the zone!

I stayed in a Park Avenue Deluxe a couple years ago. We put three people in a room and it was pretty tight; these are *very* small rooms. I'm actually not even sure where you would put a rollaway in there, because space was definitely at a premium.

Overall, I was unimpressed with the hotel. I really like the casino, and the restaurants are decent, but the Park Avenue Deluxe room was tiny, and what passed for a "view" was out one double-hung window. Not to mention, the hike from the elevator to the room can be interminable depending on where you are. I can't speak to the adjoining rooms situation, but I've only ever seen two connected rooms at a Vegas hotel, not three.

I don't believe they currently have a nightclub (unless you count Coyote Ugly), and I'm not aware of any plans to open a new one any time soon. However, Hakkasan at MGM will be open by then, and possibly the new Mandalay Bay nightclub as well, so you've got options in the area.

Save yourself some headache and some money. Do 6 people in a Bella Suite at the Venetian or Palazzo. You'll be a lot happier!
