Hi, me and my friend put our total rewards points together and got a fullied comped Deluxe Room at the new Octavius Tower at Ceasars. We might have 2 more people coming. Does Ceasars do any upgrades upon check in? anyone got in tips into getting a better or bigger room?

Most of my gambling is done at Caesars itself, by the last day of the trip I end up gambling at IP though to try and save my bankroll. I just recently got diamond and was going to book at Caesars but was told not to. Two people who have been diamond with them forever told me they don't get anything in regards to upgrades so I wish you the best of luck. What i've read on these forums as well is that Caesars is pretty tight when it comes to anything regarding TR.Venetian/Palazzo/IP/Cosmo/Mirage
My hotels of choice.
Oh don't worry I'll drink it. But you better know that when I do, we about to get buck!

The wife and I have stayed in Octavius twice (just got back yesterday). We do like the rooms, but they're a long way away (she calls the walk "the hallway from hell" on the way back every night. We got upgraded on checkin from Octavius King rooms to Octavius Luxury rooms. I didn't ask, but the guy offered and made a big deal about it, saying "the best rooms in the hotel" which I know isn't true, maybe if you don't count suites? As far as I could tell, the difference between the King and the Luxury is a slightly larger room and slightly larger bathroom. They're identical in layout, look, in every other way. In the Luxury we were higher up and and a great view of the pool complex (vs the King room being lower and crappy view of across Flamingo Blvd at the side of Bellagio). I wouldn't pay (or do the sandwich) for that upgrade. If I was at Caesar's and not in Augustus or Octavius, it would be worth trying to get and upgrade into one of those towers.
