Thanks, took a few tries but it worked, staying in a hilton on Friday, so well see if any perks come from it... I was reading that you can get other hotels to match status like Marriott, might do that before Hilton catches on...

Marriott is pretty stingy when it comes to matching status. In most cases you have to be "sponsored" by a hotel manager or a corporate account rep. Starwood used to be pretty liberal...especially if you get referred by another member with status.

I'd check to see if your Hilton Gold status is only through the end of this year or has been applied to next year as well.
