  • Cheap Rooms near Cosmo

I'm posting this on behalf of my cheap ass friend. We have some rooms at the cosmo already booked for a group of us but my cheap ass friend says 252, which would be thier portion for the 2 bed queen (great deal right) is too much. Does anyone know somewhere kinda close that would be cheaper. I can't find anything, but everyone on here seems to have worked miracles.

    Thanks

What about Jockey Club? People on here have raved about the deals they have gotten there and you cant get any closer than that.

Go to Chuck's hotel deals thread. It has to have something for ya. It might tough to convince the virgin, but on the brightside next trip she will totally understand.

Vdara is not as expensive and its really nice...The location is pretty good too, you can get decent prices at PH as well

I am guilty of this, I stayed at The Tropicana my first trip thinking I'd enjoy the walk, but the hotels are so much further away then it appears . I learned my lesson and will only stay center of the strip now!

Jockey club is totally cheap enough.

Not sure the details of your trip but I've stayed there twice and loved it.

We had a 2 bedroom / 2 bathroom place, kitchen, dining, and living room.... 3 queens beds, queen sofa sleeper, and a roll-away bed (we slept 6 comfortably). We stayed for 7 nights on one of the trips and paid $1100 for 7 nights.... $152/nt which for our group of six was $26/per person per night... doesn't get much better.
Other perks are access to Cosmo pools with your JC key card, free wifi, no resort fees, a great view if you get the Bellagio side, and it isn't smokey (since there is no on-site casino)

Only real downside was the living room area was a bit dated, but we really just slept there so it wasn't a big deal... still very clean throughout though.

The Jockey club is almost inside of the cosmo.... Cosmo built around it on 3 sides. There is a direct elevator from JC property right to the casino floor of the Cosmo... we could be in our 7th floor room and be on the Cosmo casino floor in 90 seconds. You could be to the intersection of PH, Bellagio, and Cosmo in about 60 seconds, and inside the Bellagio in about 3 minutes.

I booked both times through this ad - http://www.vrbo.com/244587 - the lady is super helpful and willing to work with you/your group

                The view:

You're honestly closer to the Cosmo casino at Jockey Club than most Cosmo guests are

Another overlooked property is the Grand Marriot Chateau. Its across the street from the PH Towers off Harmon. The walk is no different than Monte Carlo to Cosmo or Ballys to Cosmo, its probably even a closer walk.
A friend of mine got a 3br suite for $280 on a weekend. YES, 3br with kitchen and living room. I think it was about 2000+sq ft total.
                  I think the 1br are $130-160 a night.

Its a timeshare type property so no Casino or anything like that. but it has 4 stars on trip advisor and is highly rated.

Book her at the very north end of the strip so she realizes what to do for the next trip. If all else fails, just sign up for Total Rewards and get some really cheap rooms at like IP or something. It's not a HORRIBLE walk and as a member they can get you some really cheap rooms.

Oh don't worry I'll drink it. But you better know that when I do, we about to get buck!

Maybe the Strat or Excalibur. Good luck with your friend! Just wait until they see the prices of food, clubs, etc.
