Venetian?

I have stayed at most of the hotels on the strip but this is the first time at the Venetian. Anything I should know or expect before going?

Have you visited the Venetian on previous trips? I always wanted to stay there but never pulled the trigger. Hard to beat their nightlife and restaurants and I like their casino floor. Sorry, never been in their rooms before. That Walgreens they have has saved my life before tho.

You can get some pretty badass rooms with views and a $20 sandwich usually does the trick if you didn't pay for one already. Make sure you know where the rooms are at and have your key with you at all times, security is sometimes stiff about making sure people using the elevators have rooms. Order drinks from the servers while gambling, the bar costed me $24 patron shots each.

Jhaulotte - I have been in the Venetian a few times but never in a room. I got to Vegas a couple times a year but finally decided to try out the Venetian.

JCase - What is a "$20 sandwich"? I don't gamble much but thankfully with a 34DD I have never had a problem getting drinks for free

I usually don't discuss first times but Venetian was my first as well.

And 34DD? Maybe that's why I can't get anything, I'm stuck with my B cup manboobs.

Slip a $20 between your credit card and id when checking in and ask if any upgrades are available. AKA the "Upgrade Sandwich"

My fault! Sorry about to get off of work and got excited but you slip a $20 bill between your credit card and ID upon check-in when they ask for it. It's not 100% but they don't take your money if they can't help you...at least from my experience

If you can use the sandwich to move to the palazzo, the rooms are pretty much the same, yet the entire building is newer and nicer. We stayed there on my bday and only took one cab ride because all our partying was done there or at wynncore, which palazzo is a much easier walk to than Venetian.

I've always had good experiences at the Venetian. Best standard hotel rooms in Vegas, and the service is out of this world.

venetian is good. there is an upgraded tower.
