When will Nobu Hotel open?

Caesar's is opening Nobu Hotel as one of these boutique hotel-with-a-hotel things soon. I've read a few places that they'll start taking reservations Oct 1st, but I don't know if that actually means they'll be open on Oct 1st or if Oct 1st is just they day you can call for reservations for some future date.

Does anyone have any idea? Also, any ideas one whether this is a new tower or did they just refurbish some existing rooms? If so, which tower?

Not sure about when they plan to open, but when I was last there, they said late 2012 .

As for the tower, it's not a new one. They took over and refurbished the Centurion Tower.
