  • Airport -> Cosmo

Less than a week before we land in Vegas, there's a total of 14 of us arriving on different flights but there will be 8 of us landing on the one of the flights.

I've heard a few stories about Taxi drivers taking an extended route from the airport to increase the fare so what would be the correct way to ask them to go and how much should the total fare be. I assume we would need 2/3 cabs so not sure if we would be better getting a limo to take all of us at once.

What would you say the best option for us to get there would be?

Appreciate any help, can't explain how much help the forum has been in planning everything.
An 8,000 mile journey is always worth it when it ends in Vegas!

Here you go mate ---> http://www.presidentiallimolv.com/la...e-web-special/

We done this for 10 us last month. Doesn't work out that much more expensive than taking 2/3 cabs, plus you'll get your return journey sorted and some bubbly!

If you're worrying about getting screwed out of five bucks, i fear for your wallet in vegas. But anyways, the gentleman who posted Presidential hit the nail on the head. Curteous drivers, nice vehicles, reasonable $$, can't go wrong!!

Presidential +1000 all day! Do it, I guarantee you'll be glad you did and will do the same for every trip there after.

Ha ha, no my wallet has already been prepared to be raped! I was more concerned about losing time with them taking a detour, especially after 22hrs of traveling! Appreciate the help I'll check them out.

with 4+ people a limo/towncar is always the way to go.

I've always had luck with the following - see what vehicles they have right there and now... ask one of the attendants for something smaller than what you see (still fitting your group), 9 out of 10 times they'll give you the bigger/nicer vehicle for the smaller one's price just so they can be sure they've got your business.
.... last trip there were 6 of us, asked for a stretch (since I didn't see and regular or stretch cars) and they gave us a stretch SUV for the car's price... work to/from the airport.

I think most people's complaints about being tunneled do have to do with being charged more not taking more time, some people say that it is faster to take the tunnel depending on where you are going, but it will almost always be more expensive. If you say you want the fastest route, theyll take the tunnel from what I understand. I dont think I have ever been tunneled in the 10 times I have been, but if I was it was before I knew what getting tunneled was.

It's always funny how a cab ride can take 20 mins and 20 bucks going to hotel, but it's 10 mins and 10 bucks heading to airport. First thing my buddy always says to the driver after he makes the first turn no matter what city or if he's even been there before is "why the fuck you taking this way?" it at least keeps them on their toes

                    ^ LoL

In the past I've been headed from LAS to Cosmo or Bellagio or whatevers and I just tell the cab driver, "Look I got $20 bucks, whatever you get us there in the $20 is urs..." Swear to god one time the cab driver was straight NASCAR'ing through the backside of vegas, like Koval and other back roads, got us to destination in some $14 and change, gave him the $20 and told him good work. /end

I don't see how it's going to cost much more than 20. My cab fare from LAS> both Aria and Cosmo were just shy of 20 and I tip a few bucks. I mean going for a limo isn't going to be MUCH per person with big groups but 20 bucks is still 20 bucks.

Don't want to open a new thread ... so I just ask a couple of questions about this service right here We're 6 people and we obviously carry a lot of baggage so is it better to book the Stretch Escalade or is a Super Stretch Limo sufficient and comfortable for our group size ?

What's the best store to make a quick stop for booze ? Best prices/selection ?

I think you would be okay with a super stretch...
Our last trip four of us got picked up at the airport (4 checked bags and 4 carry-ons) and then picked up two others on the strip... so six of us went to the grocery store and bought $600 worth of food/booze and it all fit in a regular limo (not even the super stretch)... they have huge trunks.
This site does a good job of breaking down how many people / bags per car - http://www.lasvegaslimo.com/our-fleet.html

For just booze I would suggest - http://leesliquorlv.com/ (there is one on Flamingo rd.)
If you are going for booze, food, other random supplies I suggest - Vons on tropicana
