  • Where to Stay?

I am planning a trip for 4 girls Oct 5-8. I have been to vegas at least once a year but havent done a girls trip in awhile. I know the new hot place to stay is the Cosmo but my friend has her heart set on Belliago. Looking for info on whats the major differences staying at each as i havent stayed at either.

Would also like to do bottle service on Sunday night, looking for recommendations on that, trying to get the best bang for our buck.

I've had awesome luck with the Jockey Club... and you would be splitting the difference between Cosmo and Bellagio... and saving a ton of $$$.

We got a 2 bedroom / 2 bathroom unit with a living/kitchen/dining room for 7 nights for $1100... so I would guess 3 nights would only be like $500 or something.

    The Good:
two bathrooms (for girls getting ready it is a big plus)
3 queen beds + Pullout couch + roll away if needed
    Cheap
Not smokey (no casino on site)
From our room to the main entrance of Bellagio - 3 minutes
From our room to the casino floor of Cosmo - 2 minutes (private elevator for those at JC)
From our room to the strip - 2 minutes
24/7 pool (it is small though)
The view on a Bellagio side room

    The Bad:
Our room was sort of dated (booked through VRBO)
No attached bars/club (but you're connected to Cosmo so it isn't a huge deal)

    Not a bad view either:

On Sunday for BS 4 girls should be able to get a 1 bottle min almost anywhere on those dates.... not sure how table location works for girls but a one bottle min most likely wouldn't be front and center.

I would suggest looking into the following places and hosts
      XS - Ryan @ 505-507-6111
The Bank - I've used this guy, CK @ 702-494-9957 and was able to get a comp'd bottle with a dance floor table
Vanity - CK also could have gotten pretty good Sunday deals at Vanity, we just were too burned out to take him up on them

Jockey Club sounds like a sweet deal for a home base to get ready and crash out. One of the reasons I love Vegas is staying in the big flashy resorts though. My choice would be Bellagio. I like to go out and party in Vegas, but when I head back to my room I like a bit of serenity to rest in comfort...
Like all great travelers, I've seen more than I remember, and remember more than I have seen.

Both are adequate places. I do, however, favor Cosmopolitan a lot more because I've stayed there most recently, and the room was flashy but quaint. Totally up to you on the hotel.

You could go a different route and just pick a random hotel that's nice, like Harrah's or Planet Hollywood. Regardless of which hotel you pick out of what seems to be an unlimited amount of choices, you and your girls will have a delightful time.

Palms Place has many of the same full featured amenities as Aria and Vdara but for a lot less. You also have the added benefit of 2 clubs and a lounge on site.

I'm taking your suggestion here (Not to hijack this thread), and staying in Nov. I'll either confirm or dispute SKN's claims..

BTW, did you ask specifically for a fountain view?

                Thanks,

Actually, it only takes one drink to get me loaded. Trouble is, I can't remember if it's the thirteenth or fourteenth.

A good friend would bail you out of jail, but your best friend would be the one sitting next to you saying, "damn that was awesome".

I live for the nights I can't remember with the people I'll never forget.

                  Yes,
I booked from this VRBO listing - http://www.vrbo.com/244587 - I called the first number listed, the lady's name is Vanee' .... she was super helpful getting it all setup and things were smooth upon check in.

I asked for a higher level (top floor is like 11) and a Bellagio view (the other side sucks pretty hard).... we got 7th floor and faced the fountains and it was awesome.

Stayed in a Wraparound suite at the Cosmo last time I went and it was pretty heavenly. Also the clientele and overall vibe of the joint is probably what you're looking for, even in the lowest tiered rooms.
