Cosmo Sandwich + Tower Question

Whats up guys,

In approx 1 month, I will be hitting Vegas with 3 friends of mine.
We have booked a 2 queen Terrace Studio through Marriot (and got a Killer deal, only 1600$ for 8 nights).

Now since we need at least 2 beds, I wanna play my cards right when trying the Sandwich trick.
What's the best I could ask for, knowing that we will arrive on a friday night (around 8pm).

I was thinking a room upgrade might be hard (since we need the 2 beds), but maybe free buffets, free WIFI, or marquee wristbands for saterday.. Higher floor?

We are not afraid to do a 100$ sandwich if that would help anything...

Also should we ask for the East-West tower, please keep in mind we are there mainly to party and don't gamble.

From what previous posters have said. The sandwich at check in will usually get you a higher room with a terrace and king bed. It's what I got with a $40 sandwich. You could try asking for a roll away. Other than I haven't seen many posters with success getting double bed terraces, or the ultra swanky suites there. There is a post going on along the boards here that has a code for free wifi. You'll get free admission to Marquee Day Club on Thursday, Friday, Sunday, and Monday as a guest as long as you get there earlier. Saturday you won't. So you can cross off the wristband idea. Passes to the buffet, hmm maybe if you ask. I wouldn't bet on it though. I'd say if you're there to party stick with the room you have, unless you can live with a king.

What's sold out? I dont think I've ever seen pre-sales sell out for Marquee. Not even Kaskade or avicii for LDW is sold out.

Good Lord! Avicii MDC is $100 that weekend! Kaskade is $80! That's why I avoid all holiday weekends. Going at the end of Sept for Kaskade and tix are $30. Haha

Thanks my man, you are right, they are back up. I assure you though they werent earlier on and were "sold out" - may have been updating the prices though as they have changed again.

Thanks for the feedback guys. At TripAdvisor they said they might put us in a City Room (no terrace) because we arrive friday night and with limited 2 queens terrace studios available. Should I contact them in advance or am I safe since it has that Room on my reservation form.. Thanks!

Stick with the reservation you have. Buy presales for Saturday for Kaskade. You'll walk right in, then you can go back and hit your room for a short time and pregame. I recommend going to the 24/7 Walgreens across from Cosmo. They have a full walk in beer cooler and an entire liquor store. Just make sure you get back to Marquee by Midnight. After that it will be a mess trying to get back in even through the re-entry line.
