  • Favorite rewards program?

I'm just curious as to where most people have their main rewards program set to? I'm a points whore and would like to try and stay consistent with one if possible. After browsing through the forums, it seems as if a lot of people stay at M Life properties and all of my M Life friends love it.

Oh don't worry I'll drink it. But you better know that when I do, we about to get buck!

I used to stay at PH, Paris, Caesars and occasional Rio 3-4yrs ago. So basically the Total Rewards properties. PH used to be my favorite hotel, back up would be Paris(since its close to PH), then Caesars. Between 2008-10, I think I stayed at PH for at least 30-40nights total. It was our #1 place since the party vibe was there. The prices on the CET properties just went higher than it used to be. You used to be able to get PH for $100-mid 100s most of the time. You'll see that theyre in the 200s in many weekends now. Even if I was getting some comped weekends or discounted rates, the rates are still generally higher that I was used to.

When City Center opened, it changed up my MLife play. I used to only stay occasionally at Mandalay Bay a couple times a year, Bellagio once a year and backup was Monte Carlo. Now I just gamble at Mlife casinos and our home hotel the last 12 months has been ARIA and Monte Carlo. Since Marquee opened up Jan 2011, we have been concentrating our entertainment within the City Center/Cosmo area.

We stay at Encore once in a while also, but being at Aria/Cosmo feels like we're at the center of all the action we want to see.
    ***Feb 2012 - Aria - Marquee *** March 2012 - Encore - Marquee, Surrender
***May 2012 - Aria - Marquee, Surrender ***June 2012 - Cosmo - Marquee, XS, EDC
    ***June 2012 - Aria - Marquee ***July 2012 - Monte Carlo - XS
    ***Aug 2012 - Aria - Marquee, XS ***Oct 5-6 - Monte Carlo - Marquee

I've always wanted to stay at Aria/Cosmo since they opened but haven't had a chance since I always seem to choose dates that revolve around their prices skyrocketing. I really like the stash of hotels/gaming that M Life offers but I just recently signed up and my first trip with it ended on a weekend costing $400/night at either, I just decided to use my points and stay at the Venetian...maybe next time.

I'm locked in to mLife as of about 2 years ago. I used to bounce around all over the place gambling when I was a tourist. Now that I'm over seeing all the different properties I just kind of naturally settled in to the mLife properties. There's a property for every budget and all of them are great locations on the strip (i.e. Mirage, Aria, Monte Carlo, Bellagio). I've never stayed at Monte Carlo, but we gamble there almost every trip...never plan on it...just kind of happens. They send free room offers fairly regularly.
Like all great travelers, I've seen more than I remember, and remember more than I have seen.
