Penthouse suite recommendations -
Looking for a suite that will comfortably fit 5 people.
Pricing will need to be around 1200-1300, we can stretch it a bit however looking to do this for only 3 nights in September.
I've currently looked at the ARIA Skysuite's (didnt see much there from the photo's)
MGM Skylofts looked great, but would love to get your recommendation guys.

I was actually just looking at the tier 1 clubs. Theyre not out yet for that week. They usually release a month in advance. So around august.Originally posted by Joeysarsenal View PostOk Done.Originally posted by ochowie View PostJoey,
Weren't you considering a 2br Skyloft? If you are and are OK with the price there is nothing at Cosmo that comes remotely close to that room for under 3k/night. The two bedroom suites suck and are expensive and I really don't think a wraparound will sleep 5 unless you get an adjoining suite and even then it might be tight.
Now for the other topic,
is there a way to check what is going on in vegas the days im there? 27th of September till 4th of october

The central location of Cosmo is certainly a plus. However, I arranged limo service through the Skylofts to go everywhere on the strip (sometimes in a limo sometimes in the Rolls) and never got charged for it. It's making me extra angry since I could barely get the Palazzo to comp me airport transportation for my October trip where I have a Lago Media Suite booked.Originally posted by NoahRam View PostPersonally I prefer the Skylofts, but the Cosmos location is a huge selling point since it's the center of the strip.

Getting alot of people recommending the cosmo.
Hmm surely theres some other rooms, Cosmo looks like the most you can get in one room is the 2 king/queen.
How much do they normally charge for rollaways?
Also is there a way to check what is going on in vegas the days im there?

How about the wraparound? I think I only saw a bed and a couch. Looking to fit 5-6 people in the room. Maybe I should bring some sleeping bags for the terrace HahaOriginally posted by Chali2Na View PostIf you're talking about the penthouses, even the two-bedroom penthouses have two queens and a king. Hell, I've been in a Cosmo room that wasn't a penthouse that had the same set-up. You'll have no problem fitting five people in those rooms.

Whats the charge on a roll away? or is there bedding configuration that can be changed?
Remember i need to fit 5 people.

Every time I have asked the Cosmo for a roll-away (~3 times) they have been out of them. There is a two bedroom suite at the Cosmo but it is expensive and sucks (eg. doesn't have a balcony...)

If you prefer to have everyone in one suite, I agree that the 2bedroom SkyLoft is a great choice for your budget (Aria SkySuites are fine, but like ochowie said, pales in comparison). However I just called (I'm traveling in Sept also), they are fully committed for the month of Sept for the 2bedroom SkyLofts. The Concierge gave me $1200 per night quote for the month of October (subject to change of course).
If you don't need to have one big penthouse, but rather just want something large enough accommodate the entire group. With your budget, you can easily do two wrap around suites at the Cosmo, or two penthouse suites at the Bellagio. Just do a rollaway bed in one of the suites, I mean you would have to for the 2bedroom SkyLoft anyways. Both Bellagio and Cosmo offer better restaurants, overall location and nightlife venues (Cosmo) compare to the MGM. Bellagio's Penthouses also has their separate entry in the hotel and excellent service.Last edited by JJ82; 07-17-2012, 06:34 PM.

I'm sorry but the Aria SkySuites are not even remotely in the same league as the MGM Skylofts. Here's a review to demonstrate: http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/luxur...iew-video.html. Even if some of the issues in the review have been sorted out I still don't see how that room could compare to the multi story Skyloft. That's not evening mentioning the level of service you receive at the skylofts which is far superior to the SkySuites. The only area where the Aria wins is the central location, but then I had comped limo service from the Skylofts that week so that wasn't an issue for me.
