    Penthouse suite recommendations -
Looking for a suite that will comfortably fit 5 people.

Pricing will need to be around 1200-1300, we can stretch it a bit however looking to do this for only 3 nights in September.

I've currently looked at the ARIA Skysuite's (didnt see much there from the photo's)
MGM Skylofts looked great, but would love to get your recommendation guys.

I love the skylofts, but a one bedroom will absolutely not fit 5 people, not really sure what a two bedroom costs. They are, however, absolutely superior to Skysuites in every way. I've gotten quotes for a Lago 2 bedroom suite at the Palazzo that would fit your budget as well.

Edit: Just checked and a 2 bedroom Skyloft would definitely be in your budget during that time period. Not sure there is really a better option.

Would the possibility of rollaways be available to the skylofts?

2 bedroom sky suites are great! I stayed there and it's VIP from the moment you get there till the moment you check out. Seperate entrance, valet, check in and everything. The two bedroom comes with 2 kings and a sofa outside, unfortunately it's not a pull-out sofa but one person could sleep on there no problem. Oh and they have bidets in the two master bathrooms

Just to clarify, if you don't need a wetbar/dining table, go with the regular 2 bedroom sky suite, the penthouse sky suite is a bit bigger because it has another room that includes the wetbar and dining table for 8. So if you're just looking for a suite to sleep in, a regular will do the trick and save you money.

You can get rollaways in the Skylofts but it really won't fit more than 1 in the 1 bedrooms. I checked some September dates and the 2 bedrooms are around $1200 so well within your budget.

              Another vote for aria.

For smaller budget, the 2 bedroom penthouse at the Mirage doesnt look like a bad deal.

I'm sorry but the Aria SkySuites are not even remotely in the same league as the MGM Skylofts. Here's a review to demonstrate: http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/luxur...iew-video.html. Even if some of the issues in the review have been sorted out I still don't see how that room could compare to the multi story Skyloft. That's not evening mentioning the level of service you receive at the skylofts which is far superior to the SkySuites. The only area where the Aria wins is the central location, but then I had comped limo service from the Skylofts that week so that wasn't an issue for me.

If you prefer to have everyone in one suite, I agree that the 2bedroom SkyLoft is a great choice for your budget (Aria SkySuites are fine, but like ochowie said, pales in comparison). However I just called (I'm traveling in Sept also), they are fully committed for the month of Sept for the 2bedroom SkyLofts. The Concierge gave me $1200 per night quote for the month of October (subject to change of course).

If you don't need to have one big penthouse, but rather just want something large enough accommodate the entire group. With your budget, you can easily do two wrap around suites at the Cosmo, or two penthouse suites at the Bellagio. Just do a rollaway bed in one of the suites, I mean you would have to for the 2bedroom SkyLoft anyways. Both Bellagio and Cosmo offer better restaurants, overall location and nightlife venues (Cosmo) compare to the MGM. Bellagio's Penthouses also has their separate entry in the hotel and excellent service.

The Cosmo seems great however the lack of bedding is kind of an issue.
Whats the charge on a roll away? or is there bedding configuration that can be changed?

Remember i need to fit 5 people.

Every time I have asked the Cosmo for a roll-away (~3 times) they have been out of them. There is a two bedroom suite at the Cosmo but it is expensive and sucks (eg. doesn't have a balcony...)

If you're talking about the penthouses, even the two-bedroom penthouses have two queens and a king. Hell, I've been in a Cosmo room that wasn't a penthouse that had the same set-up. You'll have no problem fitting five people in those rooms.

How about the wraparound? I think I only saw a bed and a couch. Looking to fit 5-6 people in the room. Maybe I should bring some sleeping bags for the terrace Haha
