Skipping hotel floors... 12th then to 14th?

Have any of you noticed which hotels skip certain floors.

I never really paid attention to this in the past. But I just stayed at Aria this past weekend and the elevator buttons went from 12th to 14th.

    I heard Wynn/Encore skips 40-49th also.

I've heard there are some that dont have a 4th floor either. These are of course based on superstition I'm sure.
    ***Feb 2012 - Aria - Marquee *** March 2012 - Encore - Marquee, Surrender
***May 2012 - Aria - Marquee, Surrender ***June 2012 - Cosmo - Marquee, XS, EDC
    ***June 2012 - Aria - Marquee ***July 2012 - Monte Carlo - XS
    ***Aug 2012 - Aria - Marquee, XS ***Oct 5-6 - Monte Carlo - Marquee

I've never been in a building with a 13th floor. It's just a superstitious thing that went mainstream. In general, the number 4 is frowned upon in some Asian cultures. That being known, would you put any floor in your casino with the number 4 on it considering the large Asian population you hope to attract? Hell no...
Like all great travelers, I've seen more than I remember, and remember more than I have seen.

MGM has a 13th floor. I stayed in 1301 there last year. Happened to be quite the lucky weekend believe it or not!
