    Mlife.. thanks!

    I was in town for EDC this past weekend. I stayed at Cosmo for 2 nights... which was great BTW.

    During that week, MGM properties had some issues with their computer system and everyone had to be checked in manually. Swiped credit cards with carbon copies, etc. Took 3 hours for some people to check in at MGM and other places. I had checked in for a friend at MC... we didnt notice the wait since we were able to go into the VIP check in. So it was quick. I actually didnt know all about the fiasco until coming back home and reading it on some news articles and forums.

    So anyway, I open my email tonight and I get an email saying the apologies by Aria and MGM resorts. I wonder to myself, why I got this email, I didnt even stay there or play at any MGM properties this weekend. So I keep reading and at the end of the email, it says Complimentary night for the inconvenience. WTH?! SWEEEET!

    So I called Aria VIP Guest services immediately and ask about my reservation end of June. They applied the complimentary night to that stay so only 1 night is being charged. I'll probably gamble a little and see if that night can be comped as well later on.
    Nice score there... Thank you MLIFE! See you again soon Vegas... and Marquee! haha.

      with the computers being all screwed up and you having made some sort of communication with MGM's systems (via MC) something must have got criss crossed in the process. can't complain about that!

          It must have been the Aria I had booked before I got Cosmo. The cool thing with Aria is you can book and they dont charge a 1st night deposit right away. So I have 2-3 dates booked all the time just in case if the rate is decent anyways. I just happened to cancel the Aria a couple weeks before but it may have had me in the system for that date. Oh well.. I was staying there and playing there later this month anyway. So they'll get my business regardless of the free room.
