Any significant reason why i should avoid these rooms? Looking to book 2 queens and seems cheaper than a regular luxury on most sites. Or should I just tip a $50 and hope for a big upgrade to a larger suite or something nicer at the Palazzo?
Venezia Tower Rooms at the Venetian

The Venezia tower was built after the after the original Venetian tower, however after the Palazzo opened in 2007 the Venetian tower was renovated to mirror the modern look of the Palazzo's rooms.
To my knowledge the Venezia tower has not been updated and still has a very worn and traditional look. Haven't stayed in that tower since 2009 but I could be wrong. If it were me I would go for the standard tower in the Venetian or the Palazzo.____________

I would avoid at all costs. It's a long hallway down to the casino floor everytime you want to gamble and to get to the strip takes just as long. and you have to take two different elevators to get to your room. The rooms look nothing quite as nice as the Venetian/Palazzo rooms and you really feel secluded...2013 Calendar: March 20-21 (Treasure Island). May 24-27 (Cosmopolitan). June 23-25 (Mirage). July 18-22 (Cosmopolitan).
Next Trips: RETIRED.
Completed: (2012): mAyOD 2012 Invasion! (Palazzo). July 20-22 (Cosmopolitan). Dec 21-23 (Palazzo).

I stayed in the tower for NYE and I honestly never thought it was a long walk by any means, I asked the person behind the counter for a room close to an elevator. Its no more than 5 minutes to the casino from where my room was. You got super close access to Bouchon for a great breakfast and dinner. The view from the parking garage elevator is amazing! I also liked the "seclusion" of it for when we wanted to crash out, nice and quite. Compared to all the walking done by the average person in Vegas, the distance to get to the casino floor from the tower is a non issue. Room was great, service was amazing. Try a sandwich for a possible upgrade to the palazzo. Either way you will enjoy your stay no doubt.-------------

I was booked for the Bella suite at the Venetian.....asked for a complimentary upgrade to a room with a Strip view.....we slipped her a $20 tip sandwich and she asked if we needed change....we said no of course and she says well we can put you on the 18th floor of the Venetian or 40th floor of the Palazzo with a strip view.....got the 40th Palazzo....just find a younger front desk attendant and pull a sandwich tip

If your looking to get an updated and more modern hotel room go I would stay away.. It is definitely dated when comparing it to the sister properties. There does tend to be a longer walk but we really had no issue with it. I really had no problem with the Venezia but I'd rather have a more modern room and will most likely not return unless a renovation occurs. Price was right though...Count the cannons....

I was curious, is the price the same as it's sister properties The Venetian and The Palazzo or was it cheaper to book rooms in the Venezia? From my understanding all rates are the same for either property for the same type of room.Originally posted by GP7787 View PostIf your looking to get an updated and more modern hotel room go I would stay away.. I purchased the room through Hotwire and from my understanding these are the rooms they sell to Hotwire, I could be wrong though and I'm sure there are people out there who have done the Hotwire 5* North Strip and actually received a room at the Venetian. When I received my confirmation email it states "Venetian" but they put us up in the Venezia. IMO, the Venezia tower should be cheaper and if it isn't don't even bother. In the pictures below you can see the differences.Originally posted by nighthawk06si View PostI was curious, is the price the same as it's sister properties The Venetian and The Palazzo or was it cheaper to book rooms in the Venezia? Yeah Ive been in the room before. Wasn't a big fan so I tend to avoid it at all cost. I just wasn't sure if the rooms were cheaper or not.Originally posted by GP7787 View PostI purchased the room through Hotwire and from my understanding these are the rooms they sell to Hotwire, I could be wrong though and I'm sure there are people out there who have done the Hotwire 5* North Strip and actually received a room at the Venetian.
