  • Sandwich at Hard Rock

Hi, we're staying in the Celebrity Suite at the Hard Rock from Friday-Monday, just wanted to know if anyone has tried to get an upgrade from this sort of room? If so, how much did you sandwich and what room did you get??

    Thanks in advance,

we've now changed to a Pool Villa Suite, what are the chances of getting an upgrade from that, what are the chances of getting a Pool Suite with a Cabana included?!

Odds are the same as with any attempt to upgrade. Simply depends on: the size of the tip, the occupancy of the hotel (whether any rooms are available), etc...good luck. Also bear in mind that the higher the class of room you're booked in, generally the higher the tip has to be to get to the next higher class.

You'll like the pool villa MUCH better than the Celebrity Suite! The Suite is in the Casino Tower and is basically 3 rooms with the walls knocked-out. It's kinda cavernous and isn't all that cool unless you have a BIG group to party in it. It's not really luxurious at all. The pool villas are in the Paradise Tower and have direct access to the pools/cabanas. I don't know what else they'd upgrade you to except some of the specialty suites on the other side of the Paradise Tower.

The Gorilla Suite, Miami Blue, Treebark, suites (I think those are the names) are cool... they have private patio area with fire pit and private entrance to the round Breathe Pool. They're double the price of the standard pool villa and pretty difficult to get, so doubt and sandwich would get you there.

        Hope you have a blast!!!

Yer when i booked i requested a room with direct access to the pool and was told i've got a room with access to the Rehab pool with a private patio and 1080sq ft of room space! Think i'll try a $50 tip and see where it gets me, although they did say they only had a few pool villas left when i booked, but then how reliable is that...

              what sucks?!

Does anyone have any info on the sound system in the Pool Villas? I've searched the web but can't find out if they even have one? And whats the deal with plugging in iPods?

              Thanks

I'm gonna guess it's the same as was in the Gorilla Suite I stayed in, since they were built at the same time. I'm not sure of the brand, but there a large speaker (woofer) under the desk and some tweeters up on the wall. There a separate dock that accepts the IPhone/IPod and a remote control (mine didn't work), so I controlled the volume from the controls on top of the speaker under the desk.

This system provided a deep, rich sound and all the volume you'd want in the room. I doubt it would fill up the patio area with the doors open though, because HRH always has sound blasting' out there, especially at the end of the Paradise Tower you'll be at.

Also, does anyone know when the events/performers will be released for that weekend across vegas? Also a website to find this info?

Performer information usually trickles out a month or so in advance. I'd keep checking closer to the beginning of June.

As for resources, I just check the nightclub calendars.

A lot of the clubs use wantickets to sell their presale tickets, so that's a useful place to check too.
