Obviously you can get laid in any situation with any hotel if the moment is right, but let's be honest some hotels will make it way more difficult on you then others with their bad rep. Ever told a girl you hooked up with at Tier 1 club, let's head back to my room at the Riviera? I haven't and honestly don't even want to try
. Some might think it's shallow, but it's reality.
So as a public service to all the Vegas newbies here is my list of hotels to avoid if you want to get laid in Vegas
. I am only listing strip properties as off-strip and downtown is a whole other animal.
Stratosphere (come for the tower, please leave right afterwards)
Circus Circus (unless you are a family on a tight budget or a clown aficionado there is no reason for you to stay here, location sucks too)
Riviera (iconic yes, but the patrons are even older than the building and the smell, what's with that smell)
Imperial Palace (if you are the cheapest of the Caesar's properties that pretty much says it all)
Excalibur (see CC, minus location and substitute knights for clowns)
Bill's Gambling Hall and Saloon (Yes it has Drais, but if you are the only casino that has a Western Union on the Strip that says it all)
There are a couple of borderline properties too in my mind, in which I would include Harrah's, Flamingo and Bally's. Tropicana would have made the list a few years back, but I actually like what they have done with their renovation and I think it is reflected in their somewhat risen reputation.
What do you all think?
