  • Best hotel to stay at for a bunch of 21 year olds

A couple of friends and I (5 guys) are headed to Vegas for the first time and were wondering what hotel would be best to stay at for a bunch of 21 year old college-goers. We're all seniors about to graduate and are just trying to make the most of our stay and hang out with a crowd our age. Any/all advice is appreciated. Thanks.

Cosmopolitan. I'm in the same boat as you, I'm a freshly turned 21 year old going to vegas with 4 of my bros this summer. Cosmo is the newest hotel and definitely attracts ppl our age.

for 5 guys and cost effective i would go with venetian/palazzo. not exactly the age range but palazzo is in walking distance to wynn/encore clubs but if you really want to be in the age range of 21 year olds then PH/Cosmo would be my choice. PH being the cheaper of the two, if budget for hotel is not a problem definitely cosmo wraparound suite.

Fitting 5 dudes in a Cosmo room is kinda of a mish because although there is a couch there's only 1 bed

If money isn't a big deal get a few rooms at the Cosmo.

If you want bang for the buck and to have everyone together I suggest Jockey Club... the catch is there isn't a casino/bars in the hotel itself but it has an elevator that goes directly to the Cosmo casino floor.

We got a 2 bedroom (3 queen beds, pullout couch, and a rollaway bed), 2 bathroom, with a living room/kitchen/dining room for $1150 for 7 nights. Fit 6 people no problem and the location is 2nd to none. I booked it through VRBO and requested a Bellagio facing room which we got - amazing view of the fountains.

If money isn't an issue then definitely The Cosmo. You'll probably get a great deal using the LNF rates if you book far enough in advance. If money is an issue and you want to stay on the strip then I'd suggest TI. While the crowd is mixed, they recently opened a Senor Frogs so that might draw in a younger crowd. I've stayed there before because of the convenience to the Wynn clubs and a short walk to Lavo & Palazzo. Hard Rock & The Palms are also good for the younger crowd, but for your first time I'd skip these properties because if you plan to venture off property then you'll get killed on the cab costs.

I would say for 21 year olds, the draw will be at Cosmo, PH, and the Palms...I think for budget, TI and Monte Carlo...

If money isn't an issue then I agree with the others and say Cosmo for sure probably followed by PH.

If money is of importance or you just want to minimize hotel cost to maximize party money, then I would always go by the motto "it's not important where you stay but where you party" and actual location becomes the main factor in which case I would suggest TI or maybe Tropicana, now that it is renovated, or Luxor, even though it is a bit out of the way. I also like the suggestion of the Jockey Club, but have never stayed there myself. Please do not do Excalibur or Stratosphere ever, because you won't be able to convince any girl to go with you to these places unless she is completely shitfaced, which on the other hand I guess tends to happen too lol.

It's funny you say that, one time we were out and met these awesome guys from Ireland, we asked where they were staying and they said Stratosphere, I think automatically we all chuckled a little...sad but that's the reputation of those places...renovated rooms or not.

It's interesting to hear a woman's perspective on this as I've stayed in anywhere from the youth hostel in Las Vegas to the Wynn. It's all relative I guess on whom you're talking to.

I have an ongoing debate with two friends: one suggests that if a girl really likes you, she'll even go back "to a barn". The other guy suggests that a room at the Wynn/Encore/(insert multiple star/diamond property) will be over-the-top wow'ed over by that.

I figure if you're both drunk enough, it won't matter.

Me and my buddies would do New York New York "suites" which is basically just a over sized hotel room w/ 2 beds. We would be a roll away and crash about 6-8 of us total in the room. We would also bring Alberstons brand Vodka with us.. 10 dollars a half gallon if that gives you an idea of how poor we used to be.

I however do not advise this, I would be doing cosmo if I was around 5 or so people. You guys could all throw in on the sandwich as well and hope your get a nice Cosmo upgrade?

What about the new MGM Grand rooms?
                            Good location.
