Very happy to have foundthis website. I'm setting up a double bachelorparty in Aug for myself and a goodf friend. I was looking into the Trop I knowit was recently renovated, what do you guys think? Is it far from the strip? I wouldn't mind spending more money but i want all the guys to have plenty of money to spend while we"re there.

try checking out some of the hotel deal sites or even the slickdeals.net travel forum. I've gotten some crazy vegas deals there in the past.

I think the Tropicana since it's renovation is actually not bad. Obviously still not in a category with the nicer hotels, but I didn't mind staying there at all. As to location it is right on the strip towards the South end on the same corner as MGM, Excalibur and NYNY so it's not bad but does make for somewhat of a treck to some of the other hot properties like Wynn/Encore or Venetian/Palazzo.
