  • Hard Rock Hotel

Is it the place for a couple LDW?
Intended on hitting up Rehab & Vanity.

Does the hotel offer any guest privileges such as seperate lines to get in?

    Priority for chairs at Rehab?

How much would table service be?

Any info would be much appreciated.

Like I said in your other thread, Cosmo is the place, not the Hard Rock.

      To answer your questions:

No, I wouldn't want to stay there with my girlfriend. We went to Rehab last year because she had never been because we didn't want to see Afrojack 2 days in a row, and frankly it will probably be the last time I ever go there. The crowd has changed signifciantly. Heavy on the guy ratio and lots of trashy girls. Encore Beach Club, Marquee Day Club, or Wet Republic is where it's at on Sunday. Even Tao Beach.

I believe the hotel guest still have a separate line into Rehab, but if I recall they do charge you to get in, where 2 years back you could get in for free. Same with Vanity.

No priority on chairs. These also used to be free at Rehab. Now they charge a $250 F&B minimum and that doesn't include the price of admission which is absurd at least as of last year.

Prices for tables will be similar to other places, which will be high due to LDW. Figure 2 bottle minimums. And those chairs at Rehab will probably have a higher minimum, same for day beds and cabanas figure going into the thousands.

FINALLY! Someone speaks the truth about Rehab! I wonder if the changes this year will make a difference in the quality and ratio?

I just saw a few pics from last year and it was definitely a sausagefest! And you might be right about the quality of the ladies.....hmmm decisions decisions...

There is no decision to be made. Avoid Rehab like the plague.

The usual Hard Rock haters are out on this one... lots of changes and improvements going on at the property, with the fact that they've taken ReHab back "in-house" being just one. One of the hosts that's posting in another thread can address all your questions, but YES, the property is making a concerted effort to incentivize hotel guests out and around the pools.

ReHab was where it all started and will be top-teir again. Management seems very committed to putting the shine back on the place!

Don't get me wrong. I love the Hard Rock. The casino is probably my favorite in all of Vegas, even with the expansion. I love the rooms there, and the pool outside of Rehab is great. Fun cheap restaurants like Pink Taco, Johhny Smalls, and Mr.Lucky's. Like I said though, I've been going to Rehab since 2005. Last year though was enough to say enough. I'm hoping it gets back on top. More options are a great thing, but it's going to take a lot. My biggest complaint was having to pay to get into Rehab and then having to pay for a F&B minimum to get a chair. I've never had this happen at any other properties for pool parties. If you're buying a chair, daybed, cabana admission is usually included. Lastly, the huge Rehab souvenir drinks have gone from being $17 (2005) to $28 (2011) if I'm recall. Plus they were a little bit light on the alcohol. It's Vegas and I have no problem dropping money but it just seems like they were trying to squeeze every possible cent they could. Compared to EBC, Wet, Marquee, and Tao Beach, Rehab would be last on my list especially if I was bringing my girl with me. My girl thought it was skeezy and she would stick with EBC on Sundays from now on. Lastly, if you plan to venture to any other hotels, the cab costs need to be a consideration.

Actually, LongIsland your post was informative and attempted to address the OP's question. My annoyance was with the others that didn't even make an attempt to be helpful, just used it as another dig at the Hard Rock.

Frankly, I don't know where I get off bein' judgmental anyways, makes me just as bad as them...

I really like HRH too. The majority of members stayed there 2yrs ago for the May Invasion. I always visit Luckys every trip. That being said, the negativity has some validity, or HRH wouldnt be going through such great lengths to change their image.
