  • Bachelor Party 6-8 people, 1 night

Even though we won't sleep much, I don't want to be cramped into two queens. Maybe something with a pull-out couch. The bigger the room the better, preferably with a view and some "wow" factor. Looking to spend $300-400. I would definitely go more if anyone knows of any packages/specials out there. Is there an obvious choice that I should be booking on a Saturday night (6/30-7/1) for a bachelor party? Thanks.

venetian&palazzo bella suites are a good size for their price. They are 700 sq feet and have 2 queens & a queen sofa bed. Venetian and palazzo both have 20% off if you book 60 days in advance...you might wanna book soon lol

Yea I was thinking that. 20% off is good. Is it an appropriate hotel for a bunch of mid-20 dudes? I was told to check out Planet Hollywood... When I think of the Venetian, I think of a place I'd take my wife... How are the rooms? Not too gaudy?

THEHotel at Mandalay Bay should do nicely....but I have to ask:
If it is one Night and you are only "Crashing" in the room, why not book a couple of rooms at a place like the Imperial Palace...which is smack dab in the center of the strip, and spend a little less for more rooms. 3 rooms at IP should equal 2 rooms elsewhere...and no pull out couch needed. The decor certainly isn't the same, but you can't beat the locale. If it was for more than one night I'd stay elsewhere...but one night means partying till you drop.

yea, but i want to have a bigger place to pre-game. bottle service will make any room we get look cheap. does palazzo have a view of the strip? it's a good bonding experience to pile into a room and it would fit us all.. i think. hopefully the stripper has room to move around in a (bigger?) room like the palazzo then a standard double. has anyone stayed there? i'll look the two rooms though, thanks!

Yeah I stayed at the venetian on a previous trip and the crowd is a bit older...but if you just want a place to pre-game and crash I dont think you could get a 700 sq feet suite anywhere else for that price.

Also, I think you can get a 2 bedroom suite at Elara for $400-$500/night? Might wanna check that option out.

I may be worth it to shell out the extra for a big suite if you plan to hangout a lot.

Yeah I would go with Venetian/palazzo Bella suite. If you want they do have bigger suites to fit that many for pre gaming

Was just recommending someone check out the Marriott Grand Chateau on another thread. Doesn't have the "wow" factor, but it's got everything else. Certainly enough room for pre-gaming and they have rooms with pretty good views.

Jockey club might fit the bill...

We had 6 people on our last trip and got a 2 bedroom/2bathroom unit - also had living kitchen/dining room and walk in closets so your bags were laying all over.
Bedroom 1 (master) had two queen beds, and an attached bathroom
Bedroom 2 - had one queen bed
Living room had a pullout couch and we also had a roll-away brough up just in case (didn't use though).

I think it was like $170/nt. (we had it for a week though so it may have been a better rate)... even still you should come in way under your budget.

Best part was you could be to the cosmo casino floor in about 30 seconds with a direct access elevator (probably faster than those staying at the Cosmo), you could be to the strip in about 45 seconds, and Bellagio in about 2 minutes.

Pool/hot tub area was outdoor but heated and open 24/7 which was kind of nice.

                    ...and not a bad view,

hey, i was looking at the prestige level suites at the palazzo but i want to cram 3 or 4 guys in each room. we also have some friends that live in vegas who will probably come up to the hotel one night. so if i ordered a suite for 2 people (to avoid fees), what will happen when i check in on the 23rd floor for my suite? will they care if i roll in with two more guys with luggages by the desk? the club room has free happy hour and food. will they be checking us at the bar or at the club room door for room numbers or something? anyone have experience with the prestige package and advice on what to do if we're overloading the room? thanks.

they won't care if the guys stay in the room but they won't allow those two extra guys to gain access to the club room. yes they will check your name against the names listed on the room you have to gain access and your two guests will either have to be added onto your room for an additional fee or won't be allowed access.

and you can't switch the names on the list. the two names you put down (yours and one of our friends) will be on there for the whole reservations is what I got from the front desk when I called about booking one of those rooms.

do you think it is worth a sandwich to try and add a guest or two for $20? $50? i think it is probably $50-100 per guest per night for access to club level.
