  • Ever stay at the signature at MGM grand?

I was looking at the MGM site and they seemed like a nice place. Has anyone experienced them before? I'd like to hear an opinion or two.

I am in for this as well, I just booked 2 connected JR. Suites @ signature.

Never actually stayed myself, but Ive seen the rooms and they were very nice.

However, it is a bit of a walk from the action. We were ready to book Sig last year, but got talked out of it by some friends who had stayed there and thought it was a little far off.
If you dont mind being 10-15min+ away from the casino, its a nice place at a decent price.

The website claims "just a few steps away from the casino" 10-15 minutes is not a few steps and depending on the BAC in my blood that may make all the difference.

I stayed there, its a decent hotel but to be honest ill never stay there again. Rooms are big and the hotel is nice and clean but its behind the MGM itself, and when you want to get to the main strip you literally take a 10-15 minute walk to get out of the Signature/Grand, across 3 moving indoor walkways i think it was, just to get to the strip. And if you are buzzed/drunk like you should be, no bueno. Its just a pain in the @*!. Especially if you're bringing chicks back, they gonna look at you like +%% after that long @*! walk back. They have their own valet its around back. Oh and too, you can also have access to the signature by not walking through MGM, but you will need to take a back street and have to have your key card in order for the back gates to open. If you are planning on getting hammered though, i would suggest taking back a taxi and tell them to take you to the back entrance, that way you avoid going through the MGM and its a bit shorter distance wise if you get dropped off there. Makes it an easier trek.

If you're in Tower One (where I stayed last year), it's not that far a walk from the casino. The entrance to the Signature from the MGM is by the entrance to the pool. To me, it wasn't that bad a walk, but I enjoy walking. The rooms there are big and clean, and can offer a great view depending on the floor.

i stayed there once and am booked there for EDC as well... for me the location was fine... right next to Wet Republic and easy to get a taxi out front. I'd recommend it for sure.... easier to think of it as its own hotel rather than an extension of the MGM.

+1 on this... Being next to wet is nice. Always catch a cab back(* unless you insisting on doing the walk of shame) and yes, the rooms are nice comfortable... The walk ie a lil long, but not dreadful... Just don't try to take a shortcut thinking there's q back entrance at the parking lot... It'll take forever...

I've stayed here b4 and I don't mind it if casino rates elsewhere are super high. Just plan to take a taxi most places.

A bit late on this, but the Sig is convenient. After 11pm I think taxis can only drop at Tower 2, but you never have to wait for more than 1 person for a ride. Otherwise, it's like 3-4 blocks to CityCenter if you want to walk. It definitely is it's own thing from the MGM, but super convenient to get to Wet and quiet when you actually want/need to rest.

My friend used VRBO to book a junior suite at MGM Grand Signature. It worked out well. I like the idea of renting from an owner. The owner was gracious in offering services like grocery delivery that I don't there were offered by the Signature staff.

It wasn't so problematic bringing people back, compared to Elara or the Panorama Towers (that's a f*cking joke).

I liked the instant access to the MGM pool, the Signature suite pool and Wet Republic.

The only thing I didn't like about it was how the junior suite was essentially a bachelor suite, so no real separation from the sofa bed.

Many people grumble about the walk to the suite, but I got used to it quickly. I rarely gamble, so I don't care to walk to the casino floor.

Jokcey club might fit the bill.
We got a 2bed/2bath unit with kitchen, living room and walk in closets to keep shit out of the way for $1150 for 7 nights.
There were 3 queens beds, a pullout couch, and we had a roll-away just in case (which was free).

Best location on the strip - bar none. 90 seconds to the Cosmo casino floor, 60 seconds to the strip (actually on the strip), 4 minutes to Bellagio.

Awsome view too (see attached - also the kitchen)

I did for the Jockey club - easy with no hangups

I liked the Signature. We cab it everywhere regardless, and I like the extra space & balcony for a reasonable price. No hour waits to get a cab like some places. Also, if you book through expedia, or orbitz, or one of those places, you can get it pretty cheap if you book hotel & car together (it was actually cheaper to do this for a variety of properties than just booking hotel alone, don't know why!)
