Advice on where to stay please

I'd ask for an upgrade to a Penthouse or Lenai if I'd already dished out for the 2 bedroom Tower Suite. Drop a $100 on them and ask for a Lenai!

When was the last time you had success with the sandwich at Mirage?

I did a $40 sandwich on my last vegas trip in March 2011 and they upgraded us from the standard room(vacation package on westjet vacations) to a 1 bedroom penthouse. I also remember reading that another member of this forum got upgraded to a penthouse suite as well with a $50 sandwich.

I would only switch hotels if you get a stupidly good deal.

Switch hotels is a pain in the ass, but I'm doing it on my next trip. First two days in the middle of the week are at the Mirage, then MDW will be at Cosmo based on the deal I got.

I've stayed at MGM, Flamingo, TI, Harrah's, Venetian, and Mirage. It really depends on what you want. If you want a good pool, then MGM, Venetian, and Mirage are good bets. All are in good locations except for the MGM, but I really like the MGM for the crowd, pool complex, and Wet Republic. Harrah's is the cheapest, but the rooms are decent, and it's in a great location (havent been to their pool, but I dont think it's much to talk about).
