Okay update, upon talking back and forth. Dana has offered to upgrade my girlfriend and my room for our vacation in august to a high floor 2 bed room suite. She was really nice about the whole thing.

Despite the fails of room service. Would you recommend getting a two bedroom?

Glad to hear that was resolved, I was nervous about staying there during the Invasion. Hopefully they get the kinks worked out by then. Thanks for posting this.

The two bedroom is AWESOME, im bringing my girlfriend in august and thats what we are getting. Even if we didnt get the free upgrade i would have at least got the 1br. The 2 bedroom master has a panoramic floor to ceiling windows. ITS GANGSTER and the shower has two "rain maker" shower head. The room has a jacuzzi in it. It also has a projector and pretty good speakers that can be heard throughout the room. Full kitchen with all flatware, cups, utensils, knifes, dish washer, refrigerator, and a GREAT table for beer pong (kind of burned out on it but ehh) All in all, i say go with it. ALSO had a bidet which was awesome. I used it every chance i got, almost better than baby wipes. Plus its attached to the miracle mile so you can walk to earl of sandwich at night or the cheap breakfast places in the morning. Also there is a 24hr CVS which is a 3 minute walk (24 hr liquor) although the prices are pretty high.

http://www.yelp.com/biz/elara-a-hilt...otel-las-vegas Just read the yelp reviews, and it seems they're spot on. Looks like they're trying to get get rid of the whole "party hotel" reputation they've become. Guess I'll be booking elsewhere from now on...

How did your friend get more wristbands without them knowing you already had 4 wrist bands? I called earlier today and they said for a 2 bedroom suite, we can only have 8 wristbands but we have 11 people... did you guys tip them or something?

also what do the wrist bands look like? are the type that you could possibly peel off like the ones at clubs? thanks a bunch!

Same - killing my reservation for mAyOD... Good thing I had the Mirage deal(s) as a backup already booked.

Clearly there will be NO pregame parties there in May. What a bust.
Oh, P-tr-ck, I STILL need to borrow your German Leg Breaking Machine....Thx.

Well they can kiss my reservations ass good-bye. Just read this on yelp. If you want to change the image fine, but don't pull bullshit charges out of your guys ass.

We had left a few cups around the room (didn't even spill any) and a broken glass (which we can't clean up without a broom anyway)....BAM! $650 fee for an "excessively dirty room!

A bar stool had one of the cross bars break while getting off it...BAM! $150 fee for a broke chair! It's not like we were abusing it or throwing it around, it was an accident, and that's normal wear and tear.

Everyone that I talked to (except one person), from the security desk to the assistant general manager was actually hostile to me...like I had personally left party cups around their own home. I asked where the chair was broken and I got the response, "I don't know where it was broken, but you broke it." They said they took pictures of the dirty room, so I asked them to email them to me and got the response, "I'm not sending you anything."

I finally got a hold of the other assistant general manager, who was nice and reasonable. He said they get 20-30 trashed rooms a weekend, and "they're trying to get away from that type of party." AKA, they're trying to send a message with all these extra charges.

If you think you might leave the room messy or accidentally break something, the Elara hotel will stick it to you. The message seems to be coming from management, and there's nothing they're willing to do for you. You've been warned!
