  • Elara / PH Towers (Hilton)....... pushy sales, but nice offer (long)

I just took a call from Hilton about them promoting their "new Luxury property on the Las Vegas strip".
I assume the goal was to eventually get me to buy in to their grand vacation club or whatever.
After a couple of questions (do you enjoy Hilton properties? do you enjoy Vegas? when was the last time you were in Vegas? are you sinlge, married or cohabiting? together do you make under $80K, over $80K or over $100K) they then gave me the offer.
If you check in on a Fri, Sat or Sun, I can stay at the new property for 3 days/2 nights in a King Studio Suite for a total charge of $149+ tax. No resort fees.
If I check in on a Mon-Thurs, I can stay at the property for 3 days/2 nights in a King Studio Suite for a total charge of $99+ tax. No resort fees.

The catch, "setting aside a time during the trip for a tour lasting less than 2 hours." You can pick the time of the tour. You both must make the trip and attend the tour.
They give you 6 months from this day to use your trip. No blackout dates at all. You have to pay for it at the time of the phone call.

After I told them no dice (mainly because I dont want the tour coming in between my Vegas fun when i know I have NO plans to buy in) they said ok, we will throw in a $200 voucher towards a future stay at ANY Hilton property.
I told him its a great deal, but its one I can not take advantage of. He then said "goodnight sir".

So........ in closing. If Hilton has your info from prior stays or because you are in their rewards program, you may get a call from them. Maybe it will work for you. heck, if you want the deal, call them. Maybe they will offer it to you. 702-699-7903.

    Peace

Hahaha I used to be that poor sob on the other end of the phone trying to convince people for the exact same promotion, only in Breckenridge, co only lasted a few months though because it's such a terrible job! Good deal but why oh why would you want to suffer through the sales pitch while you're on vacation!?!
