PH Towers - Elara Upgrades

Has anyone tried getting a "sandwich" upgrade after it became Elara?

Would love to find out about this to. Heading there March 29, had a 1 bedroom suite. Wanna sandwhich a 100 to see what i can get lol

I was about to try the trick a few days ago but decided against it. Luckily our rooms were good enough (20th floor, view of PH and Paris)

yeah i overthought it. there were a few available front desk people...a couple of cute girls, and then an old guy. i was trying to mentally prepare myself for each one, but when it got to be my turn i sort of froze so i decided against it, haha. lame.

I got fucked on it. 50$, i had the 2br and asked for a high floor not a better room just a high floor and got 20... she even said no problem. She may have just had a fear of heights and thought 20 was a really high floor. Who can say?

“First night was the worst night I've ever spent in a hotel.”
Reviewed March 22, 2012 NEW Be ready to party if you are staying here! We came here on a business/leisure trip.We decided to book because the towers have been converted to Hilton. My husband had to sleep because he had to work some while we were in Vegas. The first night after returning to our room we returned to a very loud neighbors so we decided rather than ruin their party we would just switch rooms! BIG MiSTAKE!!!! We got moved to a "non smoking" room that smelled like an ashtray! I felt like I had my face in an ashtray all night! Then the party started at 1 a.m. and did not end until 5 a.m.I think they called the 1-800 girls to your room! Uggh!!! It was the worst night sleep I had ever experienced. We even called security twice, apprently security doesn't care! We did go down and complain the next morning at 6:30 a.m. They immediately switched our room and upgraded us to a huge suite, which was really good with beautiful views of the Belliago fountains and of the Paris. I recommend if you stay here go for the suite in the beginning!!!! The regular rooms all have paper thin doors in between them and you can hear everything!!!! I will not stay here again even though they upgraded us! Stay at the Belliago or Caesars (they both were beautiful)."

Awesome! For the life of me I can't understand why people don't invest in ear plugs if they intend on sleeping in Vegas...
