TI vs. Palms MDW

In light of the new deal just posted on trip alertz I would like everyones opinion on which hotel you would rather stay at. Both are about the same price. I have never stayed at either hotel. I know the palms is nicer but the location really sucks. TI is literally across the street from the Wynn and Palazzo and their 2 amazing pool parties which I will be frequenting while there. Taxi fares from the palms will be a lot. TI doesn't look like their rooms are bad at all. Opinions?

I would pick TI if you plan on being around that end of the strip most of your time. Then you can just walk vs a cab ride every time.

TI rooms are good rooms. I didn't have any complaints when I stayed on my last trip.

If you're not planning on partying at the palms, I'd go with TI.

TI for sure. I've stayed off the strip and it BLOWS. The Palms is worth it for a night if you're partying there

I agree with all sentiment - - although TI is pretty devoid of a marquee bar / club (would you count Kahunaville?), it's still a pretty fun resort with clean rooms, great beds, good service, and most important... VERY close proximity to WynnCore, VeniLazzo, and Mirage...

Never did the Palms, but have stayed at TI and loved it. Had alot of fun

I've stayed at both and had fun at both. I usually do stay at the palms though, but mostly because I choose to gamble here & most of my nights are usually comped. I have no complaints with the Palms except that the location is slightly annoying. The comped rooms make up for my cab costs though. I find it's about $10+tip each way and I'm usually with a few people so I really do not find it to be such a terrible expense. The rooms in the Palms tower leave much to be desired in my opinion. I really prefer the fantasy tower or palms place, but if I don't feel like spend the extra cash on a place to sleep I'll just stay in the palms tower. When I go with my BF we stay in a nicer room sine we are likely to spend more time there than when I'm with the girls. I've also stayed at TI and have no real complaints here either. Rooms were fine, nothing fancy but clean and definitely served their purpose. The size was just fine for us 3 girls. I actually had quite a bit of fun at their pool versus the Palms pool. If you plan to go out around TI then I would definitely choose TI.
