Booking in May - Palazzo and Encore

Hey Guys,

Last time I went to Vegas was in February 2011 and I know this site helped me out heaps!

I want to know the best time I should book accomodation.

I wanted to do the following dates at the following hotels:
Venetian or Palazzo 3rd of May to the 7th of May
Wynn or Wynn Encore 7th of May to the 10th of May

Should I book accomodation now? Or will it get cheaper closer to the date?

So far the rates I have been offered are

Palazzo 3/May-7/May $950USD (luxury suite)
Encore 7/May-10/May $580USD (resort view king)

I'm just getting a room to myself as I have other friends staying at the Aria and Ceasars.

I stayed at the Venetian last year and loved it..

Do you think the rates are ok? If not where can I get better?

You can book now but keep an eye on the rates periodically. If they drop between now and your trip, call the hotel and have them adjust the rate.

Id book now and just watch the prices from now til your trip date, since those reservations can be cancelled and rebooked without penalty.

wynn/encore is amazing and has awesome rooms. you will love it.
