Just a heads up. I got my pre-tax amount down from $616 for two nights to $288 for two nights using www.WeFly.co.uk (thanks to this thread). Combine that with my Gold status waiving the resort fee AND the companion night giving a second room for free, and I just got two rooms for two nights for around $300 all said and done.
how to get Cosmo cheap

Could someone walk me through the steps on how to do this?
Edit: On WeFly I read in their cancellation policy that there's a 15% fee. For a Wraparound + Terrace suite that adds up to over $350. Is that correct? And if so, is there anyway to avoid the charge?Last edited by PLAGUE; 03-26-2016, 08:15 AM.

You're not booking on WeFly. Book your hotel room on Marriott's direct website.Originally posted by PLAGUE View PostCould someone walk me through the steps on how to do this?

And then use this link for submit a claim for a price match... https://www.marriott.com/look/claimForm.mi
You'll have to convert the price found on WeFly from GBP to USD (That's assuming you're from the US, but they have every other currency in the drop down menu. I use Marriott's own currency converter found on their booking page, so that we're both on the same page as far as exchange rate goes). Keep in mind that the price on WeFly doesn't include the daily resort fee of $33.40 after tax, which is included in the final price when you book directly through Marriott. So mention it in the comments that the price you found on WeFly when converted to USD plus the resort fee factored in is still cheaper than the Marriott rate you booked.
Be sure to link the WeFly page to them as well.
Hope this helps!

Seems as though LNF caught up with WeFly, since that website no longer includes the Cosmo, unless I'm missing something...also, I was denied a claim using the TravelRepublic website. According to Marriot, the price quote on TR is not guaranteed until you receive an email from TR, which of course, requires that you book the reso. Doesn't seem right to me, since the LNF program does not require that you book the reso with the competitor, again, unless I'm missing something...?

Yeah looks like WeFly doesn't have Cosmo listed as of now. Shame because they saved me 1/2 off my wraparound for my upcoming trip. You can just try submitting another claim or try calling in, I find the LNF to be hit or miss depending on the person you get. Sometimes they'll say tax is not included in the Wefly quote, but then there have been times they just matched to whatever I gave them, tax inclusive. I've gotten them to match TravelRepublic in the past though, so you probably got someone unlucky haha.Originally posted by Rrrondog View PostSeems as though LNF caught up with WeFly, since that website no longer includes the Cosmo, unless I'm missing something...also, I was denied a claim using the TravelRepublic website. Just added a day onto my trip. Booked 1 night through Marriott (wouldn't let me use the Booking direct from Cosmo website this time). It was $230 + $31.20 tax. Travelrepublic had it for $200 with tax. They adjusted it down to $132 + tax.
Note: use additional search feature to select US$. Makes it easier.2015 mAyOD Invasion

So far wefly.com is the only site that has worked, but I have seen cheaper rates on travelrepublic as well as weholiday. A few times they said they could either not find the hotel listed, which I always was able to see, or the rate was no longer what was listed in the claim.
couple of quick questions please:
1. wefly.co.uk doesn't have the static links, as in you just cannot send the link via copy paste directly for LNF, so how did you manage, did you just sent them the URL & asked them to search themselves?
2. How do you manage so hey take care of the tax part? - for 1 of my LNF via travelrepublic, they just took the average nightly rate, discoounted it by 25%, but, the new rate was exclusive of tax while as we know all european websites include the local tax (minus the resort fee ofcourse).
