Just wanted to share how awesome this place is...

I imagine most people overlook this place when trying to book a room... it is a condo style/time share/hotel property directly on the strip. Right between Cosmo and Bellagio, across from PH.

There are 1/2/3 bedroom units - I can only speak to the 2 bed units.

Master Bedroom - 2 queen beds, huge walk in closet, private bathroom
2nd Bedroom - 1 queen bed, one full/roll-away bed, huge closet.
2nd bathroom right off of the door to the 2nd bedroom.
Kitchen had fridge, microwave, oven, dishwasher.... all the plates, cups/glasses, pots and pans yo would ever need.
Dining room had a nice table with 4 chairs.
Living room had a sofa and a love seat.
    Kitchen area:

    seperate living room

The way the hotel is laid out (no casino) means you can seriously be from an upper floor room to the strip in like 3 minutes, just down an elevator, out the front door and a 300 ft. walk and you're there/

Also the hotel has a direct access elevator to the Cosmo casino... just into this elevator, up to Cosmo1 and you come out right by the slots... really fast

There is also shuttles that go to a store like twice a week, and they also go to some off-strip attractions like malls and what not. Free WIFI throughout the whole building too.
The pool and hot tub are small but heated and open 24/7... we were there and night time temps were in the 40's and the pool was still quite warm.

Seriously I highly suggest this place as a perfect group destination.... lots of room and everyone can still stay together. Great for pregaming before a night out and completely central to all of the Vegas Strip.

I booked from a private condo owner through www.vrbo.com , the Jockey club also takes reservations through their website directly.

    ... here is the view

Thanks for the 411 Nicholas. This actually does sound like an awesome location. And for the $ it can leave extra for some more partying and gambling.

I figure most these timeshare places are a bit more family oriented with an older crowd. I want to ask, how was your experience here, in terms of having a "vegas experience" if you will? Ambiance? any issues with other guest?

We are determine to make this a memorable one. Just want to make sure this will only add to the experience. Greatly appreciate the info. Thanks.

I didn't see anyone younger than us.... so no kids which was nice.
... the average age of others there was around 40's I would say... but we never had an issue with getting to loud or anything. One night someone from the hotel came up to talk to me buddy but it was because he had passed out/fallen asleep in a common area by the hotel. I don't blame them for that.

Everyone we met to/from the airport or just around the hotel was very nice (employees and other guests).

I was afraid of losing the "Vegas feel" with not having a casino attached but really the only thing you lose is the smokey smell going to/from your room.... which I was okay with. I think if the Cosmo wasn't connect it might have felt less like Vegas, but it was honestly a 10 second elevator ride and you were SMACK in the middle of the Cosmo casino.

I would consider it if looked more like a suite/condo, than an apartment.

Where'd you book? Every time Ive tried it's sold out. How much?
That being said, if you're asking if it can be done, you're probably not at the level where you could pull it off.

You want to be at the club where girls want to be... not where guys get good bottle deals.

Make sure you request a Bellagio view.

Here is the private owner I booked through:
                http://www.vrbo.com/244587
use this number: 702) 715-2177 - her name was Vanee' and she was super helpful in getting everything setup for me.

Yea, that's who I booked with, although the lady's name was Zeny. She put down that I wanted a bellagio view, but said it wouldn't get assigned til later on and no guarantees. Did you call back closer to your trip to ask again?

Forrest, I booked through the above, 5 nights (5/17- 5/22) 2 Bedroom for ~946 total (including 12% tax)

BUT I initially booked a 1 Br (650 sq ft) through expedia, 5 nights at around $520ish total which I canceled in favor of the 2 br option. The VRBO 1 br was around $620 for 5 nights.

expedia's 2 br option was around 985 for the 5 nights.

So in conclusion, if you're getting a 1 br, go with expedia (unless rates changed). If you're thinking 2 Br go with the vrbo for a slightly cheaper rate (but you book via phone) or book via expedia 2br for slightly more but convenience of booking online.

How's the room quality? Looks like it could be hit or miss? I'm heading to Vegas in march and this option looks very good. Location can't be beat.

I calld just to confirm about 3 weeks out and remind her about the room request, she remember and delivered for me.... then called 24 hours before the check in time to confirm my exact room number.

How's the room quality? Looks like it could be hit or miss?
With that VRBO ad it was the exact room in the photos. Beds were nice, couches were a bit dated but comfy, and all of the kitchen items were there and in good shape.

We ended dragging the coffee table from the living room to the kitchen table and used it was a chair so all six of us could sit around the table and play cards/dice.

Honestly everything in the hotel as great. Only thing I didn't like was the following:
*On site store's prices were bat shit crazy... I should have expected as much, just walk to walgreens, CVS, or ABC
                      * Only ice maker I knew of was on the 2nd floor, so we had to travel down the elevator to get ice, not a huge deal though

                      A few other tips:
*if you need/want a car/limo/etc go out of the main jockey club enterance, turn left (opposite of the strip) and you'll go up a small incline... this takes you right to the cosmo valet/waiting area for limos - a 1 minute walk
*To PH, Bellagio or anything north just go out the main enterance and turn right - 30 seconds to the strip
*To Cosmo or anything south, use the Cosmo specific elevator... hotel employees can show you the location, its a 30 second walk and you get off in the center of the Cosmo casino... go up an escalator and then out through Crystals mall to the south.
                      * Timeshare people talked to us upon arrival, we said no thanks (they wanted married couples anyway) so they left us alone for the next 7 days.
