  • Monte Carlo, Flamingo or NY NY

Looks like booking a package is the best way of doing AOD this year for those of us accross the atlantic.

Can get a good deal going with the aformentioned hotels, would anyone have a prefrence? Only really walked through NY NY never been in the other two but Flamingo is probablly the best location wise?

Ive heard Flamingo rooms tend to be on the small size, but never been in, just to the back bar. It's a great central location. I liked both NYNY and Monte Carlo when I have stayed previously. I liked Monte Carlo better in that they had a fun pool, good people and rooms were nice. Plus, it connects by the tram to Bellagio. I have tossed around Monte Carlo with my group for May, in that it's a decent place/rates and let's be honest, I would rather spend money on doing things/drinking/eating then on my room.

Yeah as amazing as staying in the Cosmo would be, id rather drink the money thanks very much!

Was worried the Monte Carlo would have an older vibe to it but thats not based on anything just in my own head

I last stayed there in 2009, it was a mix. I would honestly say it was mostly people in their 20's and young 30's staying there. I never thought I was too young or too old. I didn't gamble much in the casino, but I think because it was pre-renovation. Mostly just went to the pool during the day and was out all night-early morning.

Flamingo is terrible IMO. They put me in a suite, and I went back down and requested a new room. Ended up in a GO room and it was "OK", but Id prefer not to stay there. The pool was decent.

IMO nyny is adequate. It's clean. Not much to Get excited for. I'd pick monte Carlo if prices a the same. Just to try out something new and the tram would be good.
That being said, if you're asking if it can be done, you're probably not at the level where you could pull it off.

You want to be at the club where girls want to be... not where guys get good bottle deals.

Las Vegas was good. Hell of a ship, hell of a crew.

Out of the 3, I've stayed only at Flamingo. Wouldn't recommend it.

Monte Carlo looked more than decent, when walking through the lobby, etc. Also, have heard good things from people who have stayed there. I'd pick there if I was you and had to choose between the 3
              Nothing interesting to add here...

Last time I stayed in Monte Carlo was for nye 2010/11 it wasnt bad, I mean it wasn't extravagant but it was somewhere to lay your head.... If its cheap make it happen!

Had the pleasure of staying in all 3... Monte Carlo wins hands down - would be staying there again this May if the lads didnt want to be more more central...

Stayed at Monte Carlo for last year's NYE weekend. Location is awesome, close to MGM, City Center, Cosmo, NYNY, PH and Bellagio plus free tram to city center and Bellagio helps a lot. Rooms are clean and decent but don't expect anything lavish like Tier 1 hotels but just for sleep/shower and get ready it is more than enough. Staff of the hotel was awesome, hotel is not too big so it is easy to get to your room when you are all wasted lol. Pub in the hotel has good food and drink specials and brand steakhouse is actually a pretty good restaurant.

Out of those options I can easily say; Monte Carlo.

Monte Carlo has best location out of the 3. Stayed there in November, rooms are decent!
