MGM Skyloft vs Cosmo - Dilemma!

5 of us (all guys) between the ages for 25-27 are coming to vegas in September for 5 nights.

The first option is a Wraparound Suite with interconnected One Bedroom Fountain View Suite at the Cosmo (2000 sq ft). For an extra $350 each we can get the 2 bedroom Skyloft (3000 sq ft) at the MGM with almost no view of the strip (suprisingly)! We are there to party so im not sure how much time we will spend in the room, however.

My first reaction was we have to do the skyloft all day long BUT all the action centres around the Cosmo with its cool bars/restaurants plus i guess its more our age group. Also, the pool area at the MGM looks pretty average in pics ive seen so im skeptical as to what benefit we are going to get in the skyloft other than the room itself.

What do u guys recommend?? anyone here experienced both?

Personally, I think MGMs pool is the best "hotel" pool. Lazy river, ect. I never hit the hotel pools though, because I prefer pool parties (21+ only).

As far as hotel Cosmo isn't even comparable to MGM. Cosmo is 10 times better. That being said, I think skyloft isnt comparable to a wraparound at Cosmo. I'd go with Skyloft. Cosmo is short walk, so not a big deal.

But there is nothing wrong with your Cosmo option and if your more interested in the hotel vs room, go with Cosmo.

Thanks for all the info. no doubt the sky loft is the superior room and service. but my gut feeling is the Cosmo is the better all rounder for a 20 something year old. MGM away from the sky lofts is looking a little tired/stale the more i look into it. ok the Cosmo wraparound around doesn't have a personal butler but i can imagine chilling on the terrace overlooking the strip must be pretty awesome!
