The cosmo is perfectly fine. I think its a nice building with great views. What would you rather have come back? the Boardwalk casino and roller coaster? LOL.

I think the diversity of the architecture makes the strip what it is. I'm sure there were people who thought the Luxor was an eyesore when it was first built, but now it's just another building. All of the newer buildings seem to be moving away from the "themes" anyway.Comment

An old nostalgic part of me misses the old Boardwalk Casino because it reminds me of Vegas from when I was a kid. Also, my first adult trip to Vegas we stayed at the old Aladdin (before being knocked down and rebuilt) so we were pretty much right across from the Boardwalk.
I like City Center much better though
