Planning a June Vegas trip with the girls and thinking about staying in a Cosmopolitan Terrace Suite. They are currently running a 3 for 4 night special (25% off) with the caveat you must pay in full at time of booking. However, I'm very concerned regarding the service and cleanliness issues; it seems as though these issues have been consistent since their opening(You think after a year they would have been resolved). We are also considering Mirage tower suite, Planet Hollywood strip suite (not excited about their pool though), or Palazzo. Any thoughts?

    Thanks,
    Carye

    Hi Carye,

I'm going to Cosmo also in June, and i heard very good things about the cleanless, just for what i read on internet.

I'm concerned it's about the Spa Taxes, i don't know if we have to pay that even if we don't use it ? do you know anything about that? Anyway i already send them a e-mail about that

    Thank you,
    Frank

I love Palazzo, but I think you should try the Cosmo and decide for yourself. I was there in September and didn't notice any of those problems. Had a great time. My friend had a suite with a balcony and we hung out there all night and listened to the music from Marquee's Day Club.

I've stayed at Cosmo 3 separate weekends now and have never had an issue with anything. If you are staying in a room above Marquee in the summer months it will likely wake you up at 11 am or whenever the dayclub opens though which I never found to be an issue. And if its too loud at night when trying to sleep you should just go join the party!

I haven't heard any complaints from friends who've stayed there. They all loved the place... but then again being mostly a bunch of partiers, their views may be different from say others

Thanks for the info, we'll probably go with the Cosmo. One of the girls has never been to Vegas and a fountian view would be unbelievable for her. I was just concerned b/c quite a few reviews from Yelp mention issues with housekeeping.

Book a normal room, slip $50 at check-in, ask for wraparound, you'll be the KING of the trip...nuf said

I just stayed at the Cosmo and did not have any issues. The room was clean and we had excellent service. The only annoying thing was remembering to put your key card into the elevator to go upstairs, which can be difficult when you're hammered.

Stayed there 4 times and was wary of the problems but never had any issues personally. Loved the hotel, room was always ready and the balcony facing the fountains is amazing, especially in the summer.

My only problem is that the minibar is extremely sensitive and even if bottles merely move, you'll be charged for them. But, just call the front desk before you check out and they'll take care of it.

even though i had a bad experience at Cosmo in DEC, i would still recommend everyone to at least check it out! the WoW factor is all there.

At Cosmo it will work if you they aren't sold out and if you have an idea of what room you want to upgrade to (wraparound, 1 bedroom, premium view, etc). If they're fully booked and can't upgrade you for whatever reason they will return the tip.

Stayed at Cosmo last August. The carpet on my room was a little dirty, but that was easily fixed. Booked a 1 bedroom, tipped a $50, and got a terrace suite 43rd floor with bellagio fountain view. Well worth the money. I say go for the hotel, me and my gf loved every bit of it.
