Moral of the story is... if you're booking with southwest, check both of their sites

Last May I booked a jackpot deal and I called southwest vacations to try to get a promotion (free show tickets) but I missed the deadline. The guy said he could still get me a discount on my package, but when he saw my deal he was really suprised how cheap it was and said Vacations usually gets the cheapest deal. I was thinking, aren't you the same company?
