  • Good time to book ahead?

Hey planning on an April trip, and was just looking for some opinions on what timeframe to find some solid deals. Looking now seems to be a little early; I'm figuring around mid-late Feb will be my best bet for some solid savings. Any input would be great guys...thanks a head of time

Well if you're booking a package, probably a little early unless you find a spectacular promo or something.

If you're looking at hotels, I always recommend booking something refundable, the cheapest you can find, and then rebooking if you find a better deal. Use a site like www.mycheapvegas.com for the promo codes. I'd say 99% of the deals are refundable, just make sure before you book.

For flights, usually wait for some kind of seat sale or promo code, but I usually book about 1-3 months prior to the actual vacation date.

I'll def check that link out seems to have some stuff my other site I normally look at missed. Do you guys normally see a good price break when doing the air+hotel packages? seems most of the times I check on those things its a minimal gain if any by doing so.

Really depends what hotel you're booking. Something like the Wynn usually has better savings when you book packages, but others like the Caesars properties shows almost no savings, and are better off booking separately. MGM properties are pretty even, but sometimes there are promo codes that are much better than the savings, like buffet everyday or daily resort credits or something like that. If you're unsure, just post your info, lots of people here glad to help.

Cosmo has some sick deals going on right now - they have a "Stay 4 Nights for the Price of 3" which gives a deep cut to prices.
