A bunch of friends - Palms Place 2BR Suite

Hey,
I have a group of about 15 friends and I coming to Vegas in about a month. We currently have three 2BR suites booked at the Palms Place. How many people do you think will comfortably fit in one of the rooms? If we can consolidate down to 2 rooms, it would be great to save the money, but I don't want to do that unless it will be comfortable for about 8 people each.

I know we have 48 hours before check in to cancel, that's why I just wanted to book the rooms and decide later. I know all about checking in with only 2 people, getting extra keys, etc - I've done this in Vegas MANY times before. But I've never stayed at the Palms, and I just want to know what people think of the comfortable room capacity.

If the Palms 2br has 2 king beds, and sofa bed. and maybe another sofa. You can do 2 per bed plus the sofa. So 7 people able to sleep in a bed. 1 on the floor or maybe another couch.
Its just a matter of your friends sharing beds, crashing on couches, etc. Gotta ask them if theyre willing to do that. You can fit 15 in 2 2br place.

That's what I figured, but I wanted to know practical and realistic space. I know that we can fit 2 per bed and all, and from what I understand the room has 2 king beds and 2 sofa pullouts. But what I was more interested in is how comfortable will 15 people be between those 2 rooms. If it is going to be cramped, then we will stick with the 3 rooms, but if it will be a waste, I'd obviously rather just get 2. Has anyone actually stayed in the 2BR suite that can attest? I stayed in the Bellagio penthouse suite earlier this year and besides being the best/nicest hotel room I have ever stayed in - or seen in person for that matter - it would DEFINITELY be able to comfortably fit 8 people. But I can only say that because I lived in the room for 3 days.
