  • May 2012 accommodation decision

Planning a trip for May 2012 for 6 persons and need some input.

Stayed @ MGM last year (bungalow suites) and my friends wants to 1) "step it up a notch" and at the same time 2) "can't be to expensive". They are all "Strip"-people and don't wanna venture out...

I'm thinking Venetian, Caesars' and then I'm looking into places like Palms, Vdara, Mirage but have no real clue.

All suggestions and feedback is more than appreciated. Thanks

Have you considered the MGM Signatures suites?? You stayed at just the regular MGM rooms right? Those are pretty lame for throwing down epic parties. Probably get a complaint in the first 20 minutes.

Venetian is pretty nice. I'd approve of that if I was going.

PH is my fave hotel by far though.

PH Westgate tower, The Hotel at Mandalay Bay, Aria, Venetian. Any of there are nice. I actually prefer the Hard Rock, but you said strip only

I'd love to experience the mAyOD Invasion - but I'm a little bit afraid of it.... : ) Not sure I(or some of my friends) could live up to the expectations... But it's definitely something for my "bucket list"

Just because theres a lot of ragers going to MayOD it doesn't mean you should be scared of it. Theres lots of ways to enjoy it, plus you don't have to follow the entire schedule. A lot of people divert and do some of the things they like in between.

Some people only show up to certain events. There really is no pressure to be at everything, AND its entirely possible to show up to event, and never even meet any of the group if you didnt want to. Im positive there are people I didnt meet last year, and we were at the same event. Its possible there were people at my tables I didnt meet. Especially, the Wet Republic one.

                        Ph +1

and another +1 to what dnix said, I think out of all my AOD trips, I might meet 5-10 new people out of the 50+ that are there.
