Sig or Place

I am coming over to Vegas with the New wife for the honeymoon and have been getting some prices from VRBO on suites and have got it down to 2 choices.

1 bed suite in Signiture MGM and 1 bed suite in the Palms Place.

The palms one is my Favorite as it is really high up . looks over the strip and has a balcony that is unlocked as it’s a private residence but am a bit concerned about the location being a problem

MGM is still like a mile off the strip and a massive walk through the casino .

Will be staying for 5 nights and they are both coming back at around $700. I think the palms place is $80 cheaper

I think most of the forum will say Sig since MGM is on the strip, but I like Palms Place. I've never stayed at MGM signature, but I have stayed at Palms Place twice and the regular Palms once. I personally prefer staying at the Palms because that is also where I choose to play/gamble. I don't gamble much at other casinos - maybe $20-40 elsewhere and much, much more at the Palms. The [free] room in the regular palms tower left much to be desired, but my studio suites at Palms Place have always been wonderful. The beds are super comfy too. The cab ride to the strip is about $10 each way so it's not too bad, but it does add up. There is a shuttle that runs 2x daily to the strip, but i've never taken it. Palms also has more/better nightlife & daylife than MGM does. Palms now has GBDC (which was AWESOME), rain, playboy club, ghostbar & moon. Personally, I'd go with the Palms if you don't totally mind the cabs. Also, if it's $80 cheaper then MGM Sig, thats like 8 cabs rides right there lol.

Both Suites are on High floors looking over the strip, But with your advice, The open Balcony, My Love of Ghost Bar, Rain , Moon and Steak ( n9ne) I am going to go for the Palms. Thansk for your help everyone and see you in May
