  • Experiences w/ The Mirage?

Just wanted to ask if anyone have stayed here before and how was your experience? Hotel/Service/Pool/Nightlife
We're also planning on doing the sandwich so if anyone has done that befor here, how was your experience with that. Just planning things out with what people say.
*If this helps at all, everytime I'm in Vegas I usually stay at the Rio or PH since they always give us free suites so is the Mirage anything like those hotels?

I have stayed there a few years ago when that club used to be called tangerine lol. Hotel is fine , the Carnegie deli is amazing, open 24 hrs and the best hot pastrami on the planet.
    Appreciate Vegas

the mirage is definitely older but has since been remodeled. this was wynns original baby - the first themed mega hotel of its kind at the time. location is good. across the street from the venetian, so ure close to wynncore as well. from what i know jet has closed and will re-open new years as 1OAK. that means no club in house but again ure close to venetian and wynncore.

          Mirage:

Nightlife - 1OAK after 1.1.12 - King Ink is a good spot to hit as the "club before the club" especially if you're into tattoo's.

Food - BLT Burger across from Rhumbar right near Carnegie Deli - their burger is great.

Hotel & Service - clean and calm. Nice spread out check-in area with smiling faces behind the counter (which usually means the $20-$40 will work well).

          Hope this helps!

I stayed at the Mirage this past July and it was a blast. Had a lot of fun and location is prime. I'd recommend it if you dont need to stay in the latest and greatest hotels.

My last trip in July we were at Mirage for Love and dinner at Stack and I didn't think the vibe (awful word I know but its relevant here) just wasn't all that. I didn't get the feeling that I'd be hot to hang out there if I stayed there. Didn't feel party at allll.

Stayed 5 days at the Mirage this past May. Had a great time and the staff was incredible when it came to help. Requested to switch rooms (not bc of problems, just wanted joining rooms) and the staff was very courteous. Food is very good. Compared to others, the casino is just okay. Also, if you're going to be at the pool, make sure you get there early for a chair or you are shit out of luck.

Also be on the look out for deals...got 30% off my stay. For 6 people, for 5 days it was only about $230 a person.

Nice! Staying with my college roomates so we couldn'e afford suites since we're all broke college students. So we're thinking about doing the sandwich with a 50 bill to get 2 of the view rooms.

Stayed 4 nights during may for mAyOD! Loved it!! Great recently renovated rooms!! Beds are INSANELY comfy!! Room service and entire hotel staff is on point. Location is great, close to nightlife hotspots Palazzo/Venetian, Wynn/Encore and Cosmopolitan. Great food options. Love their burger joint BLT, ate there multiple times. Carnegie Deli is awesome for after club drunk eating.

And with sandwich trick got upgraded to higher level room, separate elevator access with bigger bathroom!

Mirage is awesome! I know it is not in that Cosmo, Aria, Wynn/Encore discussion, but casino is good, restaurants are good, location is the best, staff is top-notch, bars are so-so.

This was the highest we can go since we are all broke college students.

I understand. I am a big Mirage fan. I just meant that it seems people overlook these places because they're all about Aria and Wynn(which are great). I stayed at Mirage a few trips back and have not had to pay for a room there since, thanks to M-Life and I am by no means a huge gambler. The place is perfect for my friends and I.

Agreed Mirage is very nice and has great reasonable eating options but by no means is it a very happening party spot but it is well within walking range to every major hotel/hotspot on the strip.
