I made the mistake of wearing some brand new all whites from Aldo, needless to say that was both the first and last time I will ever wear them again. They got scuffed up so bad!

Exactly. I think some of you guys worry about things that don't matter to the chicks you'll be running into. If you're busted or your hair is jacked up you won't get any. But shoes? Just looking I can't tell what's payless from Aldo, from ...who ever. Make sure you're looking good from the ankle up and you should be aight.

Cole Haan's w/ Nike Air for sure. $100-$200 a pair. very comfortable and very stylish lace ups, loafers, and boots. I used to buy shoes from Aldo because I liked their style, but their durability and comfort suck! Cole Haan's might cost twice as much but last 3-4 times longer.

I wear a suit Mon-Fri so shoe style comes with the territory... In a club I agree it don't matter... But, having that perfect outfit with the right shoes & all that jazz makes a huge difference in how you feel... And how you feel has a direct effect on everything else...

Going out in Vegas with a Fresh Robert Graham Shirt, Some High end Jeans & a pair of Ferragamo's on your feet will change your life!!!


PS. Aldo is crap... Cheap shoes fall apart in one night... Good Shoes last a decade... Stick with Florshime, Cole Haan, Allen Edmond & Salvatore Ferragamo

Regarding the comment that Aldo is crap...I won't disagree. They're well-priced for a reason. Personally, I wouldn't buy them, but one friend buys them only because he won't spend over 100.00 for a pair of shoes. I won't buy them because I want my shoes to last me more than a year without the leather (or faux leather) to break down and I just can't stand the fit. But, to each their own.

I'm not looking to spend hundreds on shoes because other than Vegas. I doubt I'm going to be wearing them again in the near future.

So, in the end I'm really just looking for a nice quality comfortable shoe, for a decent price.

Bolded is what I was thinking considering you never bought a pair...like dex said Kenneh Cole Reaction line is usually priced well.

Or you can go no brand and throw some scholls in them....the shoe will probably look horrible after the trip though.

I actually take back the "high end" part... It's all about the fit... Strait legged, Boot Cuts, this cut, that cut... whatever... Go jeans shopping with chicks... I used to wear boot cut but after going jean shopping with a few girls I changed my game to strait leg..
