I'm a big fan of Aldo's. They always look nice and last me a while. That being said, the second pair you listed is much nicer than the first.

I wear either brown or black loafers in between round and square toe. Like others have said you need to match the belt. Check out 6pm.com for some good budget shoes.

I've seen plenty of people get away with tennis shoes that weren't as nice. There seems to be a lot of factors at play - the rest of your outfit, whether you have bottle service or not, and how the doorman is feeling that night.

Cheers for the advice. I'm not from the states so it's hard to know what you guys think is good or not but everynight I'll be wearing something that would be just as nice as what someone would wear with dress shoes here.

e.g. collared shirt and tidy jeans. (even thinking of going with a skinny tie a couple of nights) I'm even going to rock them with a suit when we have our suit night.

I'll be partying in Vegas for 6 nights, 2 will be bottle service and 1 will be palms wristbands so I guess it's the other 3 I have to worry about.

Sounds like I should be ok for the other nights but it's still a little bit of a risk.
