My plan (opinions greatly appreciated!) Oct 1-4

Hola friends!

Got a small group 7 fellas, flying in for a weekend away. Everyone leaves sunday, so sunday will be very laid back. A few rookie's on the trip so looking to show them a good time but also not kill the wallet.

my first question is how are pools this time of year? It looks like we are catching the back end..

Thursday- Only 4 guys in town. Looking to hit a club/lounge. Was hoping to do a night pool, but it looks like EBC closes the week before. Was thinking of going to Omnia, any other recommendations? Would be looking to do GA/presale

Friday - once everyone arrives we are going to go hit the gun range and just gamble during the day. We want to get a nice dinner and were thinking a steak house. with so many choices what are some of the favorites here? Looking for great food, and scenery as well. Is it worth it to do the old strip? (also no STK or anywhere nYc accesible, that is where we are coming from)
Friday Night- Tonight we are likely to do GA.Presale. Leaning toward Hakassan for Aoki. but again, what is hot on friday?

Saturday Day- some of hte guys were talking pool party. Are any of them worth it to hit? If so we are thinking cabanna.
saturday night - if we do a cabanna during the day i know going out with a table at night is tough. my ideal plan is to do a table tonight and do GA for a pool party, i just tihnk we may have more fun. that being said we are not looking to break the budget on a table..

Gentleman, I've been to LV about 15 times from NYC. Always do the same.....nightclub to pool party to nightclub to pool party to nightclub to pool party to nightclub to airport. Bed for 2 days at home. Gun range? Can't you do that in NY? Try something like this Drais Thursday night, Pool party, XS Friday then pool party then Omnia then straight to airport no sleep till plane.

In terms of clubs, there are a ton in Vegas, so it depends on what you are looking for. Do you want EDM, open format, hip hop? Take a look at what dj is playing where a few days before your trip, and let that guide your choices on where to go.

Personally I prefer pool parties over the clubs. The atmosphere is a lot more laid back, and I have found people are a lot friendlier at just about every pool party I've been to in Vegas. If your friends have never been to a Vegas pool party, then it's worth making it a priority. The pools may not be as packed as during the heart of the summer, but still should be a good time.

And I'm with BWD. I'm also an east cost boy, and take advantage of every minute I'm in Vegas. Going from the Club and straight to the airport is more the rule than the exception.

I will second or third the opinions above. #1 I would make sure I hit at least one pool party, there is nothing else really like them anywhere else. Was at EBC this Saturday and Sunday and by FAR the most fun I have had partying anywhere/ever. I would imagine that if your rookie friends hit a pool on Friday they would be down for Saturday as well (too much fun to pass up) #2 I would pass on the gun range, I have had friends want to go there before and it seemed expensive and it seemed like something I could do anywhere else. #3 I would just do presale for the dayclub no cabana, I say this because I feel if you have a cabana or a daybed you are now married to that spot, I think you meet more people wandering around. My experience is that the lines are not too bad at bars during the day either.

Lastly I am also an advocate for the Nightclub/dayclub/Nightclub/dayclub/nightclub go directly to the airport approach. We typically take a short nap from 7-10PM between and yes that does require disipline to a) order a wake up call b) set 5 alarms all over the room.

This was defiantly the route i was thinking.
I have been recently and had a blast a Daylight, Marquee Pool, and EBC. Also loved Marquee, Hakassan yet still looking to check out Omni.

This is much more of an EDM crowd.

Here is my tenative plan:
Thursday: Drai's
Friday: EBC
Friday Night: Hakassan for Aoki or Calvin Harris Omnia
Sat: Wet Republic for Chuckie or or Liquid (friend of frirned works there)
Sat Night: Steve Angela @ Omnia

thoughts on presale tickets for fri and sat night? is it worth it?
want to do bottles one night..
