thanks, we r def goin to hit Drais friday, prob Tryst sat nite. looking for a pool party that sunday. Im hearing hard rock rehab is done/tired lol so maybe one of the others that dont focus on edm. im stayin at palazzo so maybe Tao beach

I definitely recommend Tyrst in the Wynn hotel. Really cool place and just an overall good vibe and setup. The DJ's mix it up and play a little bit of everything (hip hop / r&b / edm / pop / top 40 dance /). I saw DJ Turbulence there this past weekend and he was really good and my previous trip in July I saw DJ Crooked and he was good as well. They both played similar sets focusing on open format a lot more than strictly EDM

I stayed @ the Palazzo last weekend (August 29th weekend), and hit TAO BEACH on Sunday and the music was really good. Angie Vee was the DJ and she was really good and played a lot of stuff that you would hear on the radio. The nice thing is that if you are staying at the Palazzo you will not have to pay to get into TAO BEACH, just show them your room key and you get right in with no problem. The pool and area is on the smaller side of things, but still a good spot and very convenient if staying at the Palazzo

Whoa whoa whoa... I wouldn't make special arrangements to visit gold diggers. But if you're already downtown and you have little pride its worth stopping in. The balcony is good for people watching and pictures at the very least.

Only if you are down there should you go. I am also a fan of DCR down there. Really nice lounge with more of a house vibe to it the times I have gone there. Holds maybe 300 people.

Jbrav007 dont not expect it to be like anything on the strip. Like others said, if your downtown anyway, go for it, but dont pay a $40 round trip cab ride just go there. I happen to like Downtown for a low key night, or something different. If youve been to Carnival Court, then you have something to compare it too, only indoors and no flair bartenders.

Drais (especially Thursday it got crunk AF towards the end even the bouncer guy was turnt), Chateau (which my friends loved despite the JC reviews), Tao, and Marquee (if someone like Kevin Hart is there)

You don't see Tao and Tao beach recommended that much but they usually do more open format.

i see tryst is closing and thats where we were going to celebate the bday nite Sat. ..now gotta research the other spots thats not insanly table/bottle priced and not majority edm.
