Anyone seen DJ Carnage? Not a name I've heard of in the UK? I'll be seeing him in Marquee in a few weeks, I want to know what to expect...

He's not super well known from my understanding. He's got a surprising number of follows on Soundcloud, but those can be heavily manipulated.

He does have a hit with Toca, but I'd attribute that mostly to collaborating with Timmy Trumpet and KSHMR.

Overall I'd say he's pretty good if you like trap or EDM that leans toward hip hop.

Pretty much what Max said. What day will you be going? I saw him MDW and thought he was pretty good.

He's super well known in the EDM community actually. Used to be a favorite of mines until he couldn't shut the fuck up on the mic and and his transistions went to shit. Ratchets love hims still though *ahem* Marcus!

Going on 7th Sept - thanks for the info!
I dont see it being exactly my thing but a few drinks etc and i can enjoy most places.
I'll be going after a Wedding, will i be massively over dressed in a suit?
Will there be any other DJs on in other rooms with other genres?

I wore a blazer, tie, jeans combo when I saw Carnage so you should be good in a suit.

Marquee has a closet that they occasionally open for hip hop where there *may* have a DJ... the last four or five times I have been to Marquee however it has been closed.

There's a night swim that same night at XS. I'd recommend going there unless you're set on Marquee. Definitely don't wear a suit to a night swim though.

Completely agree. Can't recommend XS Nightswim enough. Unless the bride is demanding you go to Marquee I suggest changing your plan.

Well I've had many great times at Marquee on a Monday, but any time there's Nigthswim it's a shame to miss it. Bride/groom should have gone on Jack Colton before making plans

I haven't seen Carnage in a club but i've filmed/watched him at festivals 3 times and he has diverse sets.

He definitely is pompous and might get on the mic and make some dumb remarks about his origins or how awesome he is with music etc. He is maybe 75% edm 25% hip hop but that edm can then divulge into hardstyle, trap, house etc. You will probably get a standard trap/hip set with some melodic songs here and there.

saw him at edc this year and at Tao and both of his sets were great. Mainly Trap and hip hop but there is quite bit of hardstyle and dubstep thrown in.
