Has anyone used the expedited entry presale tickets for XS and EBC? The concierge claims that you just walk in no matter the line with those tickets up till 1:00AM for XS and 1:00PM for EBC; does anyone have experience with this? Is there a separate line? Thanks for any experience that you can share.
Expedited Entry Presale Tickets at XS and EBC

I feel like the lines are fast enough and well managed enough where getting presale tickets from Wantickets makes more sense. From what I've read and experienced it seems like the concierge charges whatever the GA cover charge is, which is usually significantly more than what you'd pay if you buy tickets early on Wantickets. I'd definitely just do Wantickets for XS, since their presale line is usually extremely fast, EBC could make sense if you really feel like $20+ is worth saving maybe 10-15 minutes in line.

I typically use the guest list line and get in line around 11pm for XS. Wantickets presale tickets usually have a separate line that's never looked remotely long when I've been by it. Maybe someone else can chime in on how long it gets later at night, but I wouldn't think it's ever too long just with how efficient the XS staff are and it being a separate line.

I do use guest lists a lot. The economics of it are pretty simple, for many clubs, on many nights if you have an equal or greater number of girls as you do guys neither pay anything to anyone. So no paying or tipping of any kind. There also might be some free drinks given to the girls in a group through an open bar or drink tickets. This might sound too good to be true but guest listing does have caveats that may apply.Originally posted by OmarLittle View PostMax you use guest list a lot - how do the economics of that work out (genuinely interested btw)? I thought guest list was for girls and do you have to grease anyone / pay entrance cover?
Usually the list has a strict closing time, a time after which the guest list is closed and people are forced to pay the GA price. Usually this is somewhere in the range of 11pm-midnight. There is also going to be a line. Earlier in the night there are shorter lines, later in the night there can be significant lines. Usually I try to arrive at the club as early as possible to avoid a long line, but really lines are mostly a result of shoddy line management and bouncers so certain clubs have really quick and easy lines throughout the night while others have more problems.
For some clubs on certain nights guest list entrance limits you to the outside portion of the venue. This has been known to happen at XS and I think Marquee, but I've only heard about it for nights where they are extremely impacted. I've never experienced it myself, but it is something to keep in mind.
The bigger issue is that not every club has an even ratio guest list line every night. My understanding is that almost every club, almost every night will have a guest list line that girls can use (I've heard of certain exceptions for some major holidays, or Drai's when they have a live singer). So girls are good to go practically any time. Mixed gender groups on the other hand are more limited, especially when it comes to Friday and Saturday. Usually I go on long trips that are 7+ days so I'll give you a typical schedule and whether or not it's free.
Sunday: XS Nightswim (always free for even ratio, 1 drink ticket for each girl)
Monday: XS Monday (always free for even ratio, 1 drink ticket), Marquee Monday (always free for even ratio, often an open bar)
Tuesday: Drai's Yacht Club (usually free for even ratio), Omnia (usually free for even ratio)
Wednesday: Light (almost always free for even ratio, 2 drink tickets or an open bar), Surrender (usually $20 per guy), Wet at Night (always free for even ratio, sometimes an open bar)
Thursday: EBC at Night (usually free for even ratio), Hakkasan (always free for even ratio)
Friday: Light (almost always free for even ratio, usually 2 drink tickets, maybe an open bar), Marquee (almost always free for even ratio), XS (free sometimes, not sure how often)
Saturday: Light (usually free for even ratio), Marquee (sometimes free for even ratio)
***This list isn't complete, there are more venues and nights available, these are just the one's I've personally experienced. If I've said "usually" it means I've experienced this most trips but have either personally or read from a reliable source that the venue isn't always free. These are based on my personal experiences with 50+ nights but things change often and quickly in Vegas so things might be outdated.***
So as you can see a lot of great options throughout the week, but things are little less certain Friday and Saturday with some popular options potentially unavailable. Usually I'll try somewhere new and less popular on Friday or Saturday to try something different like The Act, or Rose. Rabbit. Lie. and most recently on my last trip Foxtail, but only because how many times do I really need to go to XS, Marquee, or Light in a single week? On my last trip I saw Porter Robinson at Marquee on a Saturday, and I got into that through guest listing, and that was free, so obviously Friday and Saturday now have some great options most weeks.
With regard to guest listing at pools things are much less predictable. Marquee Dayclub, Tao Beach, and Daylight are usually free Friday, Saturday, and Sunday (sometimes even with drink tickets or an open bar). Problem is Encore Beach Club and Wet Republic are usually considered to be so much better that they are the only venues that matter to people for pools. Guys almost always pay something at EBC ranging from a $20 reduced cover all the way to full price at $50 and I haven't made it to Wet Republic yet but I hear that while an even ratio might get a guy in for free on a slow Friday, Saturday and Sunday they typically pay near full price.

economics are simple
let someone in free because they will end up spending some money- buying some drinks.
If they are in at 11pm and the headliner isn't on till 1am.

Thanks that is great to know!!! That opens up things for my trip a lot. I figure the extra $10 (based on their price quotes is worth piece of mind for when we drink too much in the day and end up falling asleep until 1:00.Originally posted by artedm View Postseparate entrance- should be good all night

How do you sign up for the guestlist? Do you have to be referred by someone?

No referral necessary, you just need to find a phone number and then text them. Typically I write "A friend said you might be able to help me out with guest listing at (insert club or pool) on (insert date). (insert ratio of girls to guys), under (insert your full name)"Originally posted by ramalllerbmag View PostHow do you sign up for the guestlist? Do you have to be referred by someone?
So for example I'd text
"A friend said you might be able to help me out with guest listing at Encore Beach Club on Friday. 2F/2M under Max Smith"
Typically they'll text back within a few hours saying that they can or can't put you on a list, what the terms of the list are, and sometimes they'll ask how long you are in town and if they can help with anything else for the rest of your trip. Then you'll get a confirmation on the day of which you may or may not have to show when they check your name against the list.

This is late, but officially, the separate entrance for concierge tickets ends at 11:00pm. However, it is up to the club/bouncers on whether they will honor the tickets past 11:00pm. Concierge tickets last year were couple dollars more than non-concierge pre-sale tix in one case, and a couple dollars less in another case. It worked out well, and I plan to always get concierge tickets from now on if I'm staying at Encore/Wynn.Vegas Past:
LDW 2010: Hard Rock Hotel (Pools: Rehab)
Nov 2010: Treasure Island
MDW 2011: Hard Rock Hotel (Pools: Rehab)
MDW 2012: Hard Rock Hotel (Pools: Rehab)
MDW 2013: Hard Rock Hotel (Pools: Rehab)
MDW 2014: MGM Grand (Pools: Flamingo, Drais, Wet)
MDW 2015: Encore, Cosmo (Pools: Wet at Night, Daylight, EBC, XS Nightswim, Marquee)
Vegas Future:
MDW 2016: Encore, Cosmo (Pools: Wet at Night, EBC, Ditch, XS Nightswim, Marquee)

So if you are there after 11 technically they do not honor the ticket and you have to wait and pay again?Originally posted by VegasSmooth View PostThis is late, but officially, the separate entrance for concierge tickets ends at 11:00pm.
