  • Need help for a bachelor party weekend

    Hey guys,

August 13 - 16 weekend a group of my friends will be in town for a bachelor party.

    August 13, Thursday - 5 guys
    August 14, Friday - 7 guys
    August 15, Saturday - 8 guys

What are the best clubs/pool parties to go to for those days? Also, what should I expect as far as general admission/bottle service costs go?

Thursday - Considering just a low key night: gamble, drink the booze we bring with us, lounge out at the hotel pool, and go to V Bar at night. Possibly go to a strip club after V Bar.

Friday - Debating paintballing in the afternoon, otherwise more gambling, drinking, and bumming at the pool. Want to do a nice dinner before going to a club. Thinking about Marquee, but how much would bottle service cost compared to general admission? Is there a better club we should be going to instead on Friday night?

Saturday (Day) - Def want to get up semi-early (by 9:30am) and get ready to get to a pool party. From reading these forums it seems the best option is to do general admission at a pool party. Where should we go? We're thinking of Encore Beach Club. What's the best way to get in and keep our buzz?

Saturday (Night) - Want to go to XS and do bottle service. Is there a host I should talk to about XS specifically? With this being the last night of parting we want to go out with a bang. Talking a nice table, good drinks, and plenty of access to the dance floor.

I forgot to mention that we'll be staying at Palazzo. We'd prefer everything within walking range. The max we want to spend is probably $150/night per person but there's flexibility in this.

So, what do you guys think? Any recommendations? I haven't been to Vegas for over 3 years now.

Thanks for all the help! Any host that can help me plan and manage this weekend? If so, please contact me!

    with walking distance in mind

Thursday night: Tryst (bottle special) or Tao
Friday afternoon pool party- encore beach
Friday night- omnia about half a mile walk- newest club in vegas with three areas
saturday afternoon encore beach club kaskade
    saturday night- xs

pool parties open around 11am with headline djs on around 3pm going till around 6pm
nightclubs open around 11pm with headline djs on around 1am going till around 5am

To give you an idea saturday kaskade presale tickets are $87.50 a guy.
Saturday night at xs 150 a guy all in 1200 for 8 guys gets you very little like MAYBE a patio table outside
Friday night at omnia 150 a guy doesn't get you a table.

    Probably presale tickets all around

Also all strip clubs are 24/7 free limo/free entry and bottle specials b4 8pm or 9pm like $100 bottles the pool parties and nightclubs are really great so mix the strip clubs in around the pool/nightclubs

    best

With the type of budget and the way the numbers are rolling in I would suggest the following.

Pre sale everything, which means you will need to up the per night available funds, and load it up for Saturday night when everyone is in town. Make it 1 epic night. Steady, cheaper pre game drinking in the room, at a bar, etc. so you don't have to pay for to many drinks at the club.

You have $3000 at your disposal for Saturday night when you take the $150/night x 20 (5 Thurs, 7 Fri and 8 Sat). I would have the guys hand over that money up front and then budget the rest of the trip on what they have left in their pockets/bankroll. My best man did it that way and it worked out perfectly. It's amazing how the boys are all in and such until you get out there and you get the "Can you spot me now and I'll get you back when I hit a big pot or when I get back home."

Our normal rule of thumb for my group is 4 people per bottle so you are going to be at a 2 bottle minimum for Fri or Sat which is $1500 minimum before taxes, auto grat and handshakes. Now add shots and such, inviting girls to join the fellas, You see how the money is rolling away quickly?

For Kaskade at EBC I would pre sale it and just use the bars for drinks. You don't want to go to hard as you are looking at hitting a club Sat night. Too much alcohol in the Vegas heat may = some not going out Sat night in a timely fashion or at all.
Happily sponsoring the Las Vegas economy since July 1996

For a back wall table inside at XS on Saturday night you're talking about $2500 min spend. After tax and tip and host shake your at about $3500 roughly. Divide that by 8 and that's about $440 a person. Also, a back table at XS gives you great foot traffic, but no easy access to the dance floor, you have to make your way to the dance floor like everyone else squeezing to get in. To get a table with easy access to the dance floor your talking about maybe $4000 min spend (pre tax and tip and host tip).

With your budget I'd say do pre-sales and pre game hard. Pre sales are $35 for guys at XS that night. So $150-$35= $115 left for drinks. That may sound like a lot, but in actuality it's maybe 9 drinks. And if you're buying anyone shots or any girls drinks, 9 drinks all night is not much at all.

I was quoted $3K min + $500 handshake for backwall XS the weekend after

That sounds about right. $2500 - $3000 based on demand/weekend/dj/etc. I had backwall for Zedd on a Friday in June for $2500

Thanks so much guys for the replies so far. Lots of good information here to consider.

I agree that pre-sale tickets might be the best way to keep our costs down. I think we'll pre-game hard and just do pre-sale for most of the days/nights. If I was to do bottle service at just one place/event, which would be the best place to do it?

              I guess options are:
              Thursday night: Tao, Tryst
              Friday day: Encore Beach
              Friday night: Omnia, Marquee
              Saturday day: Encore Beach
              Saturday night: XS

I wish everyone had the budget to party hard every place we go, but at the same time I don't want people to be completely hungover and drained for the weekend either. I'm totally fine doing just one thing a day, if that means it reduces our costs but gives us the most bang for our buck. My only concern is that with so many guys in our group it would be harder to quickly get into places. That's the main reason we're considering bottle service at places. Also, like someone said earlier, $50 cover and $100 in drinks is barely enough to have a good time at a club. It might just be better to spend $200-250 per person on bottle service and not have to worry about drink costs.

Based on budget, even the $250 per person, I would scratch Omnia, XS, and EBC off your potential bottle service list. MIGHT be able to work something out at Marquee. Tao or Tryst will probably work well with your bottle service budget, especially on a Thursday. Pre-sales will work fine as long as you are there early, this definitely sounds like the way to go for most of the weekend for your group.

                  expanding on "best' place
Tryst thursday- cheapest bottles with older nightclub and no big name dj
Omnia/xs/encore beach- way more expensive bottles, newer nightclub with big name dj
dance floor tables-omnia/xs are way more then 150-200 a guy

In my opinion, if you're dead set on having Saturday be your bottle service night I'd go with marquee or tryst. Even though they're not the newest or most sought after club they'll still be full and have great energy. Unlike say a place like Tao or 1OAK. I've been to both Tao and Oak on Saturdays before and they were 60% empty.

With $250-$275 a person you may be able to get a table inside both marquee or tryst. Although they won't be prime locations, with a good host tip it might be a decent spot.

After talking it over with the guys we all decided to go with general admissions to everywhere. Couple of the guys aren't big drinkers, and getting a table far from the dance floor didn't seem worth it. We didn't want to deal with babysitting the table or anything like that all night either.

For those interested, these are the events we decided to go to:
                      EBC at Night on Thursday
                      Tao Beach on Friday
                      Marquee on Friday night
                      Wet Republic on Saturday
                      XS on Saturday night

Passes cost us $30-50 for all of those places. We'll be pre-partying in our hotel room before heading out, and we plan to get to the lines earlier so we don't lose our buzz while waiting around. We're also going to bring a bag with drinks in it so we can keep drinking while waiting in lines. We'll just toss anything left before heading into the venue. Hopefully we don't buy more than 5-7 drinks once inside, and we should have a great time.

Only thing I might recommend is looking at swapping Omnia for Marquee. My experience at Marquee is that with a group of guys and no table, the only less GA friendly place is Hakkasan. You end up crammed onto the dance floor or outside, and outside to me feels really disconnected from the action. The reason to consider Marquee would be if you could get a main room deal on bottle service. Otherwise, Omnia is the newest club and though I have not been yet (going in 2 weeks!), the early reports is that it is much more GA friendly than some of your other options. Just a thought to consider.
