Does Encore Beach Club pat down guys before getting in?

i always sneak in a flask in my pocket to save $$

i've never been to a dayclub/pool party before but all of the nightclubs i've been to NEVER pat down(even for XS nightswim, they don't do pat downs)

any guy who attended EBC know?

i know for sure they check girl's bags but do they pat down dudes?

EBC does pat downs, as does Wet Republic. Drai's, for Yacht Club at least, has a full metal detector and pat down. XS Nightswim is an event that is known not to do pat downs or regular bag searches.

Drai's Yacht Club and XS have reentry, so my recommendation is to not try to bring things into the club, but store drinks at the bell desk in a checked bag. Then you aren't violating any rules and can drink for more reasonable prices.

Another recommendation is if you do end up at a strict event with no reentry the cheapest drink is the Heineken. 16oz at 5.0% for $11-12 is a bargain compared to most drinks.

Yes, EBC and Wet Republic have security checks stricter than the airport. They open up your wallet and inspect every pocket. I think one guy even counted my money in there.

Do they allow sunscreen or make you buy inside? Last time I was there we just purchased at our table

They allow sunscreen at EBC and I'm pretty sure everywhere else. I think they typically open it to confirm it is actually sunscreen, so make sure that's what you are bringing.

Sunscreen bought at a venue is usually in the $40 range so I highly recommend bringing your own sunscreen.
